Maybelline Shinylicious Gloss
Overall rating: 5
Value (price): 5
Packaging Quality: 5
Would you buy this product again? Yes!!!

Comments: I have this in Melon Ball, Crushed Candy and Pink Sorbet.
Melon Ball: Very pretty peachy color
Crushed Candy: Very very lightly tinted pink with little sparkles that blend in well
Pink Sorbet: A light dusty pink, very sheer and really nice.
These all smell wonderful, the doe foot tip make application a breeze and they are not sticky at all!

Would you buy this product again? Probably not
I love the tube and applicator (applies well, isn't messy), and I love the colors (the ones I have are plum charm and Coconut Peach), my problem is that there is not much longevity to this product, and thats why I had to take the rating down two notches. I also think the smell of the product depends on which color you get - the Coconut Peach smells divine (like coconut), but the plum charm just smells chemically to me. If the color just adhered a little bit longer to my lips, this would be one of my favorite d/s lipglosses, because again, I think the applicator, packaging and colors are quite nice.

Comments: I have peaches n cream, a pale peachy flesh colour....its smells divine and fruity. It has no shimmer in it so it looks expensive. Light, moisturizing tacky feel. Great value for money.

Would you buy this product again? Maybe.

My friend got me this as a Thanksgiving present (Yes we do Thanksgiving presents, haha). I don't remember what color, but it tasted like bubblegum even though I think they all do? It didn't last very long as I remember but it looked good with my skin color. Also the packaging was very nice, not messy at all.

Would you buy this product again? Most Likely

I love the packaging on this one (tube w/ a little doe foot applicator), and I like how the color shows up (I have 'hit or miss'. It's a shimmery mauve/berry shade). It smells like berries, but a little strong.

Edit: I took off a few points because I sniffed some of the others and they smelled weird and cheap.

I purchased a couple of colours when they first came onto the scene and to be honest, I really dislike Shinylicious. I found the smell to be fake and overpowering, almost sickly. The gloss is somewhat sticky and left an unusual and uncomfortable waxy feeling on my lips. The staying power is horrendous, the gloss did a disappearing act within 5 - 10 minutes. However, due to all the positive ratings I'm really hoping that they have reformulated. *fingers crossed*

I have this in melon-ball and Pink sorbet.
I like it because they're both really sheer colors, so you can layer it over another lipstick or gloss or something !!! lol.
I like how it isn't overly sticky or greeasy feeling either and i don't mind reapplying.
some of the smells of the lipglosses turn me off, so i make sure that i pick one that I like the smell of :x

Would you buy this product again? Nope

I bought like 4 of these. I cant recall the colors and I am not at home to grab them, but I really dont like them. The smell is yuck. I do like how they look, but on me, they all look the same. I have a light peachy pink one and a dark plummy colored one and yet once applied they look exactly the same. Go figure. I could have only bought one. Also, I dont have time to reapply every 5 minutes and my last issue is the way it makes my lips feel... I prefer lipgloss on the tacky side, but this is a weird sticky feeling. lol. I dont see myself repurchasing.

Would you buy this product again? Yes!

I bought a few of these 2 or 3 years ago. I loved them, as in the color and texture and smell, but I HATED the applicator. It's a nice, skinny applicator but it has fuzz on it. There's really no point in the fuzz, though, as all it did was remove some what I was putting on. That annoyed me a LOT.

Then, a week or so ago, I was at a friends house and I noticed on her bathroom countertop, she had a few of these. I looked at the applicator which was changed to a regular slant-tip plastic one, similar to my MAC lipgelee. I was so excited, I bought another tube at the drugstore on my way home. Now, I love these more than ever!

I have it is berry grape-full?? It's a shimmery lilac color. I don't think that they make it anymore, I don't see any of the old colors on the shelves. I like how it looks over my light mauvey-lilac-y lipstick. I don't care for it alone because it doesn't last long. The smell is annoying, but it's pretty much tasteless. hate the sponge tip. I hate all lip glosses that aren't easily sanitized.

General Comments on this product: I got this for under $5, in the clear shade (can't remember the name). LOVE the shine factor, cept it can get very sticky and messy as too much comes out even if I squeeze lightly It's also great to go over lipsticks or lip stains with.

i have the vanilla cream, it's a pale, peachy pink. it smells really yummy and goes on easy, not sticky at all, and the packaging is really simple and cute. also it's pretty cheap and good value. i took off points really only because they all look so nice and it was hard to pick which one to buy oh and also, don't use it on a plane because it all oozes out as soon as you take the cap off. just so you know
definitely really good for if you're on a budget.
