MAC BoomBox black cabs @ London fashion week to promote BoomBox Book

A 20 car fleet of fantastically outrageous MAC BoomBox livery black cabs will haul privileged international style press around upcoming London Fashion week. The cabs have been commissioned to promote the forthcoming launch of a gorgeous photographic montage from BoomBox that MAC has sponsored. Boombox has long been one of the most important weekly fashion parties happening on Sunday nights in London, described as an all-out taste-making dress-up extravaganza. BoomBox will be receiving long overdue and well deserved mainstream attention for the book launching on September 18th, in the middle of London Fashion Week. Based on the price listed in the press release of £45 the book will retail somewhere around $60 USD.

Do you know what Dover Street Market in London is? Is it the store in Mayfair? I am going to try and call tomorrow to see if they are getting the book in. I would much rather go to the store to buy it than order online.

I've ordered one. I had a look at the BoomBox web site a few days ago and the photograps from the club nights looked interesting. I doubt it will appeal to me as much as the deck of cards book but I'll see when I get it.

got the book and t-shirt today. I think the t-shirt must be in men's sizes cos they are seriously big, I got the medium as I took a medium in the barbie t-shirt and it is seriously baggy and long - though thats prob the look, so u gotta consider that if u are ordering.
As for the book, I'm a bit disappointed with that, the photos and commentary are great, but to be honest it seems a bit cheaply done, the binding is awful - very fragile - I totally felt it was all gonna fall apart. If I saw it in a shop, and it wasnt MAC, I soooooo would not have paid more than say £10 for it
*sigh* anyhoo, I think this one is only for the true collectors and the Boombox goers out there
