MAC Cosmetics A Mei Color Collection Face Charts

I brought you information on the A Mei color Collection releasing in early '08 in a previous entry. The collection is a collaboration with Asian pop star A Mei, and has been receiving quite a bit of buzz in Asia since I first talked about it's release.

In this post I've included some face charts that have been created to represent A Mei's color collection and album cover. A Mei's first edition album cover face chart is a true work of art and was completed by none other than MAC Cosmetics PRO Artist and all around Makeup Mastermind, Gordon Espinet. The second edition album cover face chart, and the rest of the collection "looks" were completed by Taiwan based MAC Cosmetics PRO artist Leslie Yang.

I reccomend those of Asian descent notate and save these facecharts, the colors & placement chosen highlight and subtly enhance asian features.

NP! I haven't seen or heard about packaging yet, but every MAC celebrity collaboration I've ever seen has had special packaging of some sort. Even if it's just been to change the color of the compacts, have the signature embossed, etc.

Interesting that they are using items from other LE collections as well (smoked signals, those 3D lipglasses...). Are they repromoting?

styrch: STAR is released on August 6, so they used LE collections like In 3D, Smoke Signals etc.

Her concert A Mei Star Tour will started in October, the first location is Shanghai, the rest places inc. Singapore / USA / Taiwan / Malaysia and more.
