Back in June '07 I brought you the scoop on the Alexander McQueen for MAC Color Collection. Today I can share with you higher quality promotional images of the collection which is set to be on counters in North America on October 4th. Everything in this collection, except the eyebrow pencil, is Limited Edition.

McQueen's inspiration for this collaboration with MAC Cosmetics was Elizabeth Taylor's makeup in the motion picture film Cleopatra circa 1963.

Thanks for the pics!

I'm not sure if this collection is doing it for me. I will get New Vegas, but the other colours seem blah to me. Maybe they will look hotter in person.

I was more excited for this before I saw how much I want from the Holiday sets. From this collection I'm definately getting Jealous, probably Pagan, and MAYBE MAYBE Otherworldly paint pot.

The release is right around my bday and BF said he'd take me on a MAC spree so I'm pretty much getting EVERYTHING haha jk.

The hit list:

Pharoah and Otherwordly PP (Electro Sky looks like Royal Wink FL which I have)

Possibly some KPs

I'm not feeling this collection that much either. The more I look at the collection the more I don't want to get stuff. I will for sure get New Vegas and Feline. That's pretty much it.

I played around with the collection in the stock room last week and I must say

. The glosses are very pretty, and all of the Kohl Power Pencils. I'll most likely buy those. Other than that, I can do without it. It was a great concept, though.

Im not too excited about the products, although I really do like the concept. I wonder what kinds of awesome collections mac would come out with if they choose to be inspired by diff movies!

I stopped into my local friendly MAC and low and behold, there it was! I picked up Pharoh, Pagan, Otherworldly, Haunting and Masque. It is really cool in person!!

Not so wild about this collection. Maybe the pink lipgloss and lipstick. It seems like it would be a hot collection just to own Mcqueen for MAC, but for the longevity of the colors...not so much.
