Stila cosmetics is holding a virtual warehouse sale for those who

The start date is unknown at this point, but by signing up with your email address your promised to get "first dibs" at sale items. Making the lure even sweeter is coupon code
FREEISGOOD which means you can score free shipping on your sale haul of $50+.
While I was visiting Stila's website (signing myself up for the sale notification, w00t!) I stumbled on this great video of Sarah Lucero, the companies Director of Education, trying out Holiday palette in Guinevere on model Menal. What I love about this video are the great tips from Sarah interspersed throughout the video and it's finish after the credits which shows a moment of Sarah and her model just plain
having fun and bonding... ahh the magic of makeup.

I picked up a few new ideas for myself and I think you will too,
.
I admit, I'm digging Stila's new web based approach to reaching customers. This is really the first time I've seen a cosmetic company embracing web 2.0 and utilizing that direct contact to market product. Stila is set on reinventing themselves by reaching out to all the customers left in a lurch after Estee Lauder discontinued the brand and subsequently sold it to Stila Corp, an affiliate of Florida-based equity firm Sun Capital Partners. Rebuilding a once well established brand after virtually no presence on counters or online for around a year, without compromising image or the products prestige reputation, is resulting in this amazing grass roots internet campaign to recapture their customer. I recognize and applaud the hard work being put into this effort, Stila is a diverse brand worth noticing.
While I'm dishing on Stila I'd like to let you know how much I enjoy the illuminating powder foundation, eyeshadow and brushes. One of my all time favorite highlighters is Kitten eyeshadow, which is also great as a wash for a simple eye with black liner and red lips. My go to brush for creme liners (i.e. Fluidlines) is the
#13 one step eyeliner brush and for precision work (what Sarah refers to as "wrapping" the eye) I like using the
#4 precision eyeliner brush.
