Honestly I used to feel the same way. I think MAC is the best when it comes to brushes by far. A cheaper alternative is 1. The nordstrom sets 2. Target has good brushes from Sonia Kashuka (sp?) 3.Crown Brush.com = Awsome! Goodluck!

Fix + on top of makeup when your done and then buff it in with kabuki and then spray again. I use that method. I also use this LUSH toner that gives me that look right away after spraying it over my finished face. HTH
