That's unreal! MAC goes the way of 'Mini Me.'

I know that the new shadows are smaller but when I got all of my goodies in the mail from Nordstroms today I was shocked and had to laugh at how tiny the new shadows are compared to the original extra dimension ones!

I got all of my GD goodies (non pre-order) from Nordstrom but my excitement over this collection has been overshadowed by the fact that I'm a klutz and dropped my Ripe Peach this morning

Gotta figure out to repress the broken pieces and then I can focus on my latest haul. Or perhaps the new haul can help mend my wounds? We shall see!

Not sure how much help this will be, but I'm pale (probably about NW 15, but I've never been matched because I don't wear foundation) and I ordered 2 Whisper of Gilt, Ready To Party, Stylishly Merry, Tall, Dark and Handsome, Little Black Bow, Beauty and Outrageously Fun. Also plan on getting 2 Feminine Edge, 1 or maybe 2 Divine Blue and a second Ready To Party.

Saw the collection at my local Pro store and I'm still gonna pass. More for the rest of you! Expect stuff to sell out quickly though. From what I've been hearing, it'll go fast.

I went to Nordstroms and they don't even have this collection. I was not happy. Hell, I couldn't even find a sales associate, but I guess that's for the best b/c they probably wouldn't know what to tell me anyway. I'll stop by tomorrow after I swing by Mac. I really want to have a look at this even though I'm pretty sure I'm skipping most of it. I just want to check out the face/lip sets. I really wish they had the gloss sets for me to check out b/c I'm pretty certain I'll get at least one.

Interesting. It's a little crazy that they operate so differently. My local Nordie's said they have EVERYTHING. They've had it since last week when I pre-ordered. I'll know better tomorrow when they call to finalize my order.

Omg the dreadful makeup fall, ugh I hate that I just stepped on my eyeshadow palette the other day and luckily the only one that broke was soft brown, lol I picked up the little pieces like it was my heart haha and put it in a little container just to save it from going to waste

Can someone please tell me how Round Midnight compares to Carbonized from the Mac Me Over collection?

After seeing some swatches of RM I thought it looked quite similar. Maybe someone has both now and could tell me if I can pass that shade and buy something else instead

at least there is another 2 weeks (a paycheck) until Lavish Rose glosses come out. The only downside is that I cannot pay tomorrow in advance at Nordstroms (tomorrow will be my triple point day). But IMHO I think the Lavish Rose set is going to go quickly, there are enough of us who loves pinks and purples with pale faces and cool coloring.

again, enquiring minds.......are most people getting BUs of their Whisper of Gilt and Superb MSFs? or is that just my cosmetic addictive nature talking rather than actual necessity??

No I am not getting a bu of Superb. By the time I finish something better will come along.

Hm, I have Carbonized and IMO it's just brown where RM looks more burgundy.
