so i got the new CYY once it became perm and the texture and finish is MUCH smoother than the one I purchased from the 1st by request restock. i knew something was wrong with that lippie. it was super dry....FYI to anyone who is having issues with their CYY.

And I thought it was said that the By Request CYY was smoother than the original from Quite Cute. I thought that's what I read here. Maybe I'm wrong though? Maybe they keep getting smoother and smoother as they make them? LOL!

I almost forgot to tell, but I spotted Candy Yum Yum at my local counter, so it will be added to the perm line for the Netherlands too! I didn't bring my CYY from Quite Cute with me to compare, but when I swatched the "new" CYY it seemed the same.

I wish they'd make Rocker perm again (or at least repromote it) I need a BU, it's definitely a HG red for me!

I took my CYY from Quite Cute with me this morning to the counter and swatched it next to the new one. The new one is indeed slightly less bright. I showed it to the MUA's and they were suprized because they didn't know items could be different even if they had the same name. I think it's still good enough in case I run out, but I just wanted to let you all know.

That just kills me. That's why I'm still kicking myself for not getting the CYY from Quite Cute. I knew the one from QC was brighter. It's one of the reasons I can't get TOO excited when MAC re-promotes items because the chances are very great that they won't be exactly the same. I love the CYY I have though, just wish I was able to get the original playa from the Himalayas. LOL.

Hey! I got one the other week.. I own one from QC and also BR... And the newer ones are a tad WARMER... Than the BR.. :/ Like.. I hope they make some similar to the originals one day... because the difference between batches is crazy!!... I love hot pinks.. I am happy to have many variants... but I would also like them to have different names :/... and to be able to get another from an upcoming collection and have it be almost the same at the very least :/

I only have the one from this collection and I was a bit disappointed with the color, it didn't look like the photos I had seen of it from the QC collection :/
