Is that different from her Wonder Glow Flash Primer?  I have the Wonder Glow but it breaks me out when I wear it under my foundation.      It's fine when I wear it over my foundation, the other way that CT suggests it be worn.
Lmbo I meant wonderglow Sorry about that medgal

If you'r sensitive to primers you may want to see if you can get a sample first. I should have done that, but all's not loss since I can use it over my foundation.

Update on my terrible SA experience at TF:

I was contacted this morning by the head cosmetics manager of that location. She was super sweet. She said she read my email and said she would be speaking to the woman today, and her behavior is unacceptable. I let her know that I've never had that type of experience, and I also took the time to compliment how great my usual SA is. I didn't go into this looking for much out of it, because truly... if I could have my way, my only wish is for that SA to get fired. I'm not sure if that is a terrible thing to say, she did disrespect me after all. However, Thursday I am going in while my lovely SA is there and the cosmetics manager will be to. I'm getting a full makeover / makeup lesson from them and a complimentary gift. I thought that was a very nice gesture. I always love getting to try and play with new products I usually wouldn't. Maybe I'll discover some new loves! (My wallet shudders to think about it.)

ETA: So far, NM truly has wonderful customer service. It seems, so far, that they're really trying to rectify my opinion of their store. That's good news to me. I would have been really upset if they forgot to call me or barely tried to help sooth the situation. We'll see how Thursday goes. :)
Oh good! I hate to see ppl get fired, maybe they can retrain her? But her whole approach was just so odd and wrong. SO IDK.. Glad they are making it up to you though.

If you can get in on a pre-sale, I'd suggest doing that. My SA said that they're only getting 48 pieces, and with 32 orders already in, they only have 15 left. Not sure if that number applies solely to the palette or everything (I didn't ask), but I put my order in.
Hmm. I did want to preorder online but I have a discount code and it won't let me apply it to back ordered stock. Maybe I'll do a CS chat and see if they can override it.

Hi ladies- does anyone know the name of those new summer eyeshadow duos, and how much they cost? I am most excited about them and want to start planning my purchases! :D

They are doing pre-sales already? Yikes. I need to find out how much all this stuff is. I know the palette last year was about $95. It maybe more now. But there are eyeshadows, creme blush, bronzers, lipsticks and body oil. Yikes again.

there are couple of new colors. couple areLE and again repromoted as LE, some are new and permanent and some were LE and will stay permanent.
Ivy, Deliciously Rich, Lowlight, Midnight Snack, Our Secret, Midnight Snack
Waveline, Blacktrack, Blitz and Glitz, Silverstroke, Macroviolet, Shade, Siahi, Copperthorn are all re-promotes. So there are 3 new ones, wow, not impressed....

I am picking only one of the new colors.

I think it's ok for those who missed on the LE ones before

@Icecaramellatte, I don't know if all counters are offering pre-sales, but mine is. My SA initially texted me Sunday evening asking if I wanted to do a pre-sale.

I typically hate to see people fired, because I don't know their personal life situation that could cause them to act this way. And losing a job is really, really, terrible-- especially if you have a family to support (or even just support yourself.) However, I don't really think it's excusable to insult, harass, and follow a customer around-- regardless of any personal matters going on in your life. This is sales, and you want to attract customers, not make them run away screaming. You're expected to be professional. I don't know if she is retrainable, but that is my bias. The experience was just down right so awful... it should have been filmed for a "What NOT to do" training video, LOL! But yes, NM is doing their best to rectify the bad experience though. And I won't mind telling her straight up to her face (if she's ever at the counter and my usual SA is not) that I will only buy from my usual lady. No shame!

My SA just texted me about an event at the store so of course I asked. She said not yet but that she hasn't forgotten about me. This is good because I'm not ready for pre-orders.

Hey check out this IG pic. It looks like the bottom twists off. In other pics it looks like there is a glass bottom.

Oh ladies, I am floored with NM's customer service. I don't mean to keep talking about it! I think I will put them as my higher preference for ordering cosmetics over Nordies or Bloomingdales. Today I was emailed by Neiman's automated system about filling out a customer service survey. It asked open ended questions about my last experience. It said the surveys would be directly sent to the GM of the entire store. I never used to believe that they actually read these in detail, until I worked my last job... where the whole store would get bonuses if they could keep their survey score at like 97% positive or something like that. Soooo, I (very professionally) let it rip on the survey. Recounting the entire story and how it made me feel. But, I also included how the Cosmetics manager and the PR manager very promptly handled my concerns, and were very nice and receptive to me. I said the situation was extremely unacceptable, yet I'll keep coming back to them because their CS was on point. Within three hours, I was contacted by the General Manager. She was very nice, and extremely apologetic about the situation. I think, they are relieved to hear that I am not still enraged by the situation, and that I am not demanding things of them. While I was very furious and upset in the moment, it's just in my nature to get over things like bad customer service in a few days. She asked when I was going to be in for my makeup session with my usual SA, and when I told her... she said she's in the office and will put it on her calendar and wants to meet me! I think I'm going to be meeting with both the cosmetics manager and the GM on Thursday. I know this is probably going to sound a little insecure and silly, but, I'm really nervous about meeting them because of my age. I know I'm a paying customer, and I don't need to spend "a lot" to expect excellent customer service. Granted, I've spent quite a lot there on cosmetics. Yet, I'm a little anxious because I feel, in the back of their mind, they're going to meet me and realize I'm not their typical exorbitantly rich Boca Raton woman. I'm just a girl who really is blessed to be able to spend my hard earned money on my passion-- makeup. I know that is likely an immature way of thinking. Why should I care if they mentally judge me? I also am writing this and not sure why I am subjecting ya'll to my apprehensions about this. I guess this community is just something special, and I am so excited to share makeup passion with everyone! Anyway, they obviously treated me with respect over the phone, they know I'm a paying customer, (and a holder of their credit card) and they want to keep me around. I have the voice of a child over the phone, so I am assuming they already know I am young. I guess it's hard not to feel insecure sometimes because certain people, especially where I am from, are quick to judge that I "can't" afford nice makeup, or I have "better" things to spend my money on. I had a SA once ask me if the blush was a gift for my mom, because I look 16. I'm SO sorry for the rant and possible the over sharing of my feelings, lol. I am obviously very anxious to meet all these high ups. I'm sure they are very nice ladies, and I've spoken to them politely and respectfully, so I've given them no reason to judge me in person. DEEP BREATH! :hot:

My only advice is that you be yourself. You impress me as being a genuinely nice, intelligent young woman. That's
all they need to know and I think that's exactly what they'll see. Enjoy your make up session!!!
