Not surprised that she found it drying. However, I don't find this true of the formula at all. Which is totally fine!! Everybody is different! But what makes me sad is when I see commenters who are like "oh wow! gonna skip cause it's drying." Without trying it out (if possible) at a counter. I just want to comment and be like "She finds 98% of products drying! try them for yourselves!"

I agree with her on this one. The formula feels great on but afterwards my lips feel dry. I think everyone in time learns what works for them but it can be a process and it's tough to take a chance when they're costly and you can't swatch most items (sigh)

I don't find it drying either Lauren. I always prep my lips and the only lipsticks that I find a wee bit harsh and drying are MAC matte lipsticks-----but it's still my fav formula.
As far as T goes---she's constantly trying on products----I imagine that could make one very sensitive---hence her reaction to some products. That has to be a tough thing
to do day in and day out. It's unfortunate that some people miss out on great products because they rely solely on a single opinion.

I finally broke down and tried Olivine- lovely! This color will last into fall. I found that gently buffing exposed the hidden shimmer.

Yes. I love its chameleon like quality---it appears different depending on what other e/s you pair with it.

I would definitely get either of the reds, Ever Red/Strawberry Red and/or any of the corals---I think there are three. Deep purple is definitely not my last one!!!
I ordered the Bronze one. It's a bit Fall-ish and has a bit of purple undertone but I also think will look good in summer when I have a bit more color. I liked the corals too. But right now I am in a get all the purple lippies phase.

Excellent point, Meddie, about the skin sensitivity. I always think that most people will be more forgiving of a formula in a color they really like and I've noticed that with her too, and if I love a color but it's getting a B or something and certain other tones in the collex are getting A's, I take that into account too. I am about to try my first MAC matte (hopefully) when the new collection launches. Bloomies is no longer able to do pre-orders unfortunately which makes it harder.

Has anyone had the opportunity to try the Chanel CC cream? I'm thinking about picking one up today since I'll be out in the sun a lot beginning next weekend.

Yes, I have used it, it only has a 30 spf. If you can find a shade that matches you, super. I could not. Armani has a really good one with a 35 spf, and I used it all last summer. Liked the feel of it better then Chanel LeBeige.
Ah thank you! I browsed around the Chanel counter and looked at both the cc cream and the les beiges. I guess they just received shipment of their CC creams that's in a new line up with more colors and an spf of 50 now! So I ended up snagging that and I'm a happy girl. I will definitely look into the Armani next.

Do you know if the sunscreen in the CC cream is still octinoxate and titanium (same as Les Beiges)? I can only use zinc and/or titanium.

Zinc reduces pore size, wrinkles, and all other kinds of stuff. Yes, I blow off sunscreen in the winter. Then with warmer weather I put on sunscreen everyday. I noticed my pores are tighter. Then I remembered, I am now using sunscreen. For me the Chanel sunscreen is the best with the 50 spf. An entire bottle lasts close to 8-9 months.

My SA @ Nordie's said there are no LE highlighters coming out in the summer collection. Is that true?

Not sure what you mean by highlighters? The cheek with the flower is for sure a LE, as well as all the e/s sticks. And the same for the blushes and the one nail polish the brown one, that really isn't brown once applied. As well as the stripe powder those again for sure are LE. It is early, not sure what I am forgetting....I will marinate on this after coffee and a butt.
