All Things Sephora

See! This whole thing even affects those who were able to get a perk! now it's feels almost unkind to celebrated or be excited about what you were able to snag. they should be able to celebrate bc we all wanted something or at least to be able to say oh well we missed it but I got something else. Are we a little off the charts today yeah because we were told we could have something as valued customers but we get squat. I am surely disappointed however I'll get over it we all will but I am in the San Francisco area and honey market is about 25 minutes away #lego  no one is saying that anymore huh??!!?

Wanted to pop my head in this thread, but it's a little terrifying in here

.

Sorry to all of you that weren't able to get a reward. The quantities were definitely limited.

I was able to snag the one I really wanted (not sure I should share that or not... but Spectra is usually supportive...)

Sorry again guys.
I'm glad you shared and that you got what you wanted! When a Specktrette wins, we all win. I would love to see pics of everyone's epic reward.

Based on the smaller print wording in white, I'm thinking Sephora thinks this is a joke!
That's such a joke that it's almost insulting. "Now that the good rewards are gone, you can redeem your points for samples that you can get for free if you go to the store and ask, swatch yourself, or find similar samples if you place orders online at other major beauty retailers without having to spend your points or spend $25 or $35 to get it."

Hmm, what did Sephora specifically claim that this was? I'm still pretty sure that they have violated something because it was so ridiculous in it's very nature of offerings to the public.
I've been trying to find that out. Even the initial email is vague. The T&C's listed on the website only relate to the redemptions for each individual reward. They don't even have a section on the offering of and redemption of points in their T&C's for the BI program!!! It simply says for further information call [the CS line].

Does anyone know if the rewards will come up in the BI rewards at checkout or their own page? I've been refreshing both like a mad woman and I think I may have actually lost my mind. I slept for 1 hour this morning and my voice has that guttural morning voice that won't go away. I'm sitting here refreshing both rewards pages, Facebook and Twitter. When they posted on Twitter I sat here yelling, "9 MINUTES AGO???!!? 9 F^@€ING MINUTES AGO YOU TALK ABOUT HAIR MISTS??? WHAT ABOUT MY REWARDS??" God forbid the delivery guy gets here with the new phone before this launches because I look scary, I'm tired, hungry, aggravated and I might just body slam him if I miss this while I'm signing for a freaking phone. Makeup can be an ugly business sometimes. Haha!
Yes.
LMAOOO the burt comparison is too real!!!! trying to grow part of my eyebrow out and it's killing meeeeeeee slowly.. watching these little hairs pop up and trying desperately to leave them be *sob*
The worst!  I always get hairs growing in 2 inches from my brows but never in the sparse spots actually IN my brows.  And I've been plucking my unibrow for years, still grows back.  Accidentally pluck a hair I need in my brow and I look like Vanilla Ice for the rest of my life.
Yes, yes lol
I believe that there were only 4 of each now lol I'm going to have write my Sephora points into my will for my grandkids, I'm never going to get to use them  I'm not trying for them next time, I stalked all morning glued to my phone and computer
Lol
And just like that it's over in a flash. It was like waiting on line at a theme park for what is billed as the best ride. You wait in that serpentine line for well over an hour and a half and then you get to the front. You get on the ride. You are anticipating a wonderful event. Only to have the ride over in under 3 seconds. I'm sorry for you ladies that didn't get anything and great for you ladies that did get what you wanted!
From reading thru the thread it was fast and brutal omg

In many cases, they're the ones already available on the website with the free codes *smh*. Even though it annoys me that I even have to be held to spending $25 or $35 to get them, I'm happy for them but will not cash in 100 points for them! To be silently spiteful, I split all my orders into $25 batches so I can get ALL the free samples with codes!

Sephora doesn't need any more bad PR. I wonder what has been going on with that lawsuit from the last big sale? (http://fashionista.com/2014/11/sephora-discrimination-lawsuit)

Quoting myself because I just realised Sephora is trying to quote scripture. Really Sephora? Y'all didn't see the first part of that bible verse ay? "Charm is deceitful and beauty is fleeting"! Sephora, y'all are deceitful! lol

This is another reason I have 2000 points to blow, as Rouge I always use the offer codes and I like those things but it's so much better to get them as a promo than for points. For points I probably wouldn't be bothered

I wonder if someone started an online petition if they would change the points perk redemption to include money off!
I would sign the HELL out of this!!!!! Honestly if a retailer like Ulta can do it-- Sephora DEFINITELY could!
I got the E&J set. I had my eye on it since I saw the rewards. I agree, the regular rewards should be much much better. I usually get excited for the 1000 point perks that they release with the full size MJ products, but I think the 500 point perks should be full sized items.
YAY congrats!!! Enjoy!! I 100% agree for $500 it should be full sized... Think about it. That's $500 spent! I don't think a full sized reward is unreasonable. Or at least if it's a set like usual-- one of the items is full sized.

I feel sorry for everyone who took the time to stalk and spent extra dollars just to be scammed by Sephora. They definitely planned this so their sales would spike. I was excited about it at first but there weren't any perks that I wanted that I was eligible for. I hope that people take back everything they bought. If they continue to pull scams like this they may end up facing a big class action suit. Nordstrom will be seeing a lot more of my coins from now on. I'm going to have to treat Sephora like I treat MAC.

I'm not going to boycott Sephora or anything but I feel like this was my second attempt at getting the good perks and it didn't work so I'm not going to go out of my way to buy things there just for the points (I didn't buy any extra for these rewards I just mean in general) I am going to keep hoarding what I have though in hopes that they carry over if/when Sephora ever makes a system for money off like Ulta

I agree with you and don't blame you. I wouldn't spend 100 points to get a sample and I surely would split my orders to use as many of the free sample codes as I could. That's the smart way to shop and maximize your benefits. My biggest gripe with the $25 or $35 minimum requirement is that I've seen other retailers like Nordstrom that sometimes offer similar sized samples (even a good sized sample of an item that costs over $1000) for free without having to spend a certain amount. I could spend less and get a sample that's just as good and not have to use a code for it. But I guess I'm just bitter about it since I rarely spend that much in a single order at Sephora, which is my fault and not theirs, lol. I mainly purchase a KVD Lipstick here and there so I rarely qualify to use those codes.

All of my orders are single items for maximum promo code usage lol.

When you go to the rewards page in your account Sephora just play clown music because that's what they are and that's what they think we are.
