Applying eyeliner for beginners - and pros as well!

Yogirl

Pros: Wellmade, lasts forever, can be used dry and wet!

Cons: Price is high, but you only have to buy it once, so well worth the price!

I bought a similar brush from Trish McEvoy on a New York trip in 1995. A couple of years later I lost it and was desperate. When MAC came into business in Germany in the late 90s (that's when I discovered MAC) I also got the 212 and life and eye makeup was perfect again    I apply usually Nehru with it and eyeliner that is applied with the 212 usually lasts even through an...

“ I have several 'dupes' of this brush, but nothing compares to the MAC 214. I bought it second-hand so I didn't pay the full retail price and use it on a daily basis. I even like it for tight-lining! ” --Sylvia60

MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush

MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush

“ I'm going to buy other 2 of them! The bristles are so soft, so thick, so perfectly shaped that using e/s and pigments is a pleasure. For e/s it's able to perform a full colour application without efforts. For pigments, it's the only brush I have that doesn't produce fall down. Each time I use it, I am totally amazed but the easiness with which I can apply colour and obtain a full coverage...” --PlatinumV

MAC 188 Small Duo Fibre Brush

MAC 188 Small Duo Fibre Brush

“   This brush is perfection!   This style of brush is sometimes called a stippling brush for how it is handled, or a skunk brush because of its appearance. MAC makes two similar stippling brushes: 187 Large Duo Fibre Brush and this 188 Small Duo Fibre Brush. Both have long white hairs that are fine, soft, and gentle, with darker hairs that are a bit stiffer and more densely...” --lilinah
