MAC 239 Eye Shader Brush

I'm going to buy other 2 of them!

The bristles are so soft, so thick, so perfectly shaped that using e/s and pigments is a pleasure. For e/s it's able to perform a full colour application without efforts. For pigments, it's the only brush I have that doesn't produce fall down. Each time I use it, I am totally amazed but the easiness with which I can apply colour and obtain a full coverage on my lids.

Being "rectangular", it's useful both for big areas and for smaller ones (with the "lateral" side).

The only con is that being white, I don't want the colour to "spoil" the original white of bristles, so I am obsessed with washing it as soon as I've finished applying my e/s. I have to say that after months of intense washing, the brush is still perfect!

I love this brush to pack color on and use it daily with my every day eyeshadow routine. My only complain is that because of the brush is white hair the stains show up very obviously which looks kind of nasty.

I've had this brush for about 5 years and it still works like the day I got it, even after accidentally forgetting to wash it for 24 hours. A great essential brush.

If only the hairs weren't white.  I have the short handled one from the Adoring Carmine set [which is rumored one of the worst quality sets] - has a 239 w/ the same quality as the full sized one.  I'm not saying the entire set is the same quality - the rest of the brushes, I can tell just by looking at it that it's machine VS hand cut.  The 239 is probably the most consistent brush you'll purchase at MAC - any time, any place - regardless of machine or hand cut/holiday set or full size.  Can't fault it for price or colored hairs because it does EXACTLY what I want it to, when I want it to.

great brush... it applies so much shadow! by far, different from any other eye shadow brush. i love it!!!!

This was my first full sized Mac brush and I fell in love.  I have other eye shader brushes that I have bought from cvs like Essence of Beauty and nyx, but none of them pick up so much product as this brush so I find myself dipping into the eyeshadow less than my other brushes.  

I plan to get another one so that I can have an extra one if i forget to wash the one i use the day before.   (not anytime soon though because I'm saving money for the upcoming collections lol)
