Pros: stays on forever. good as a foundation substitute.

Cons: pump. a bit pricey

Hi all,

I use this concealer for blemishes and under eye circles but I love to mix it with a bit of moisturizer and apply it as a foundation for a sheer -yet long lasting- coverage.

It gives a semi matte finish to the skin when used alone, I recommend it for covering little imperfections as it will not move or vanish.

I do feel like it is a bit too matte for your dark circles, it doesn´t brighten the area at all. This is a personal preference, so you may disregard this little comment if you love matte finishes.

On the other hand, it STAYS ON ALL DAY and does not crease or get cakey. NOTE: a little goes a long way; just the tiniest amount of product is needed for both blemishes and under eye area.

There is one thing that I hate about it: the pump. I normally really appreciate pumps; I think that it is definitely one of the best ways to get the exact amount of product you want. This pump does not work like that, it will always squirt the same amount…way too much and you end up wasting product. I made this work by getting a MAC sample jar and pumping the concealer there, so I just take what I need.

Another thing to keep in mind is the colour range.  Maybe it is just me, but if you compare the studio finish concealer in NW20 and the pro longwear in NW20, this one is a bit darker.

Overall, this is a multipurpose concealer and I will definitely repurchase it.

Hope this information heeeelpssss :)

Pros: great for covering blemishes

Cons: not very good at covering dark circles

I've been using this concealer for years! My only problem is that although it cover blemishes and redness, it doesn't highlight my under eyes. So don't rely on this to conceal your eye bags! It does however, lasts long and is reasonably priced.

Pros: Lightweight , blends nicely to cover redness

Cons: Can be cakey under eyes , Pricey

I have very sensitive, dry, acne prone skin and this concealer works great at covering my redness and my horrible dark circles. Only problem is after at least 4 hours it becomes very cakey. Overall good concealer for hiding redness on the face and blemishes too. Not very good under the eyes.

Pros: Long lasting

Cons: Pricey.

I previously used MAC's Studio Finish Concealer and found it was way too cakey for me. I live in a climate that goes from hot to cold in a flash and it kept drying out my concealer then making it way to liquid-like. So I went to the MAC counter and asked the MA, what she recommended for staying easy to blend and creamy? She suggested the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. It is AMAZING. This product never fades on my skin, it doesn't slide around, and it blends perfectly. I mix it with a little bit of my foundation shade and you can't even tell I have concealer on.

I definitely recommend this to people who have problems blending concealers in or wanting that airbrush smooth finish look.
