Pros: stays on forever. good as a foundation substitute.
Cons: pump. a bit pricey
Hi all,
I use this concealer for blemishes and under eye circles but I love to mix it with a bit of moisturizer and apply it as a foundation for a sheer -yet long lasting- coverage.
It gives a semi matte finish to the skin when used alone, I recommend it for covering little imperfections as it will not move or vanish.
I do feel like it is a bit too matte for your dark circles, it doesn´t brighten the area at all. This is a personal preference, so you may disregard this little comment if you love matte finishes.
On the other hand, it STAYS ON ALL DAY and does not crease or get cakey. NOTE: a little goes a long way; just the tiniest amount of product is needed for both blemishes and under eye area.
There is one thing that I hate about it: the pump. I normally really appreciate pumps; I think that it is definitely one of the best ways to get the exact amount of product you want. This pump does not work like that, it will always squirt the same amount…way too much and you end up wasting product. I made this work by getting a MAC sample jar and pumping the concealer there, so I just take what I need.
Another thing to keep in mind is the colour range. Maybe it is just me, but if you compare the studio finish concealer in NW20 and the pro longwear in NW20, this one is a bit darker.
Overall, this is a multipurpose concealer and I will definitely repurchase it.
Hope this information heeeelpssss :)
