*hug!!* i've been dying to see this post, haha. thanks for finally posting it. everything is so beautiful and neat! you have so much beautiful makeup; i especially love all the mac, inglot, and nars. and all your lippies, blushes, and nail polishes... okay, so i like it all lol! i love how you organized everything. so neat.

i just recently (finally) got a vanity too and it's amazing but you'll probably have to keep a dresser for organization because you have so much. love it though. totally jealous.

I know you have and thank you for your patience and support while I got it all organized! I wish we could all visit one another and play! If I ever get a vanity I will need a lot of drawers, but never say never!! For now this works out really well, though, and my husband doesn't have to stare at tons of makeup. Most of it is hidden away in the drawers which will probably preserve longer, too. It can't get heat and dust on it, it won't melt during the summer and the humidity, even though we have central air. It is fun to open a large drawer and have a lot of pink and peach stuff staring back at me! xo

Thank you! Blush is always my favourite thing to buy, then lipsticks/glosses and then eye shadow, etc. I figure when I am old and wrinkly and 90 yrs old it will be blush that I will be wearing the most!

Very organised and I'm drooling at your collection! Love the spinners, and all your nars blushes and multiples.. wow! Everything looks simple and easy, nothing too overly fanciful. I love it. The pretty cups make me happy and I spy a cupcake in the last pic. Is that an ornament? Your perfume collection is amazing! We know you are a perfume expert. Are those small cylinders Jo Malone? I have Miss Dior Cherie edp and it is one of my favourites!

Thank you so much! The mugs are part of my mug collection and it is great to see them out there, especially since they go very well with our bedspread and tapestry (see photo below from a few years ago). I have 2 cupcakes and the one you saw has a vanilla candle in it. When I burn it down I will clean it out and use it for storage, like fashion rings or something! My various roller ball perfumes include Flowerbomb, LaVanilla (many various scents) Juicy Couture, Viva La Juicy and a few others!

What an amazing collection~! I've seen that spinning organizer but I wasn't sure whether it would be really practical for me to have it. (My collection is still quite small). Now I'm having second thoughts seeing how it beautifully showcases your products.

The spinner is great, though you do have to move things around a bit to see what fits where. But it is worth it. I love it and still find it super handy!

Thank you, everyone! I love my MU and wanted it neat and orderly. I love just opening the drawers and having it all stare back at me. It makes me smile!

I love your collection, all the glosses look like popsicles.
The QVC Spinner is one of my best storage investments, too. Comes in handy for the lipsticks on top alone.

Thanks! Yes, she really should sell the spinner in stores. It would be a huge hit, though I know it already is! I saw one YouTuber that had two of them, one on each side of her vanity. That would be handy....one for pinks and one for other colours. Hehehe....

I love ur collection. What are the different size containers that u have in the drawers called? I have been looking everywhere for those in the uk and can't find them. I have been trying on eBay and online but not sure what they are called.

  20. #20
Thank you! I got the containers from various places. The little covered ones that my nail polish are stored in came from Staples. The pink heart container came from Walgreens around Valentine's Day. The white and clear baskets also came from Walgreens, but they don't have a name. They just seem to be a Walgreens brand. The longer ones that hold my blushes and MSF's, Bronzers, etc.are by a company called MadeSmart. They have quite a variety of sizes and can sometimes be found in Kmart, Walmart or through Amazon! I hope this helps!

The bedspread and tapestry are gorgeous! Your bedroom looks so cosy and beautiful. I think it can cure my insomnia! I like Flowerbomb. I smelt it when I was overseas but couldn't decide, and when I came home I found out it is not available here.

Ugh. This is so beautiful it makes me sick. haha. I love the idea of putting all the perfumes on a platter. I'll have to steal that!

Just catching up to all of this! Thank you for all the kind remarks! I do wish I had a vanity, but for now this will have to do and I don't know what vanity will fit all that this bureau does. I like the height because I can stand some taller things in it. The 4th drawer is going to be reorganized as soon as it cools down a bit and I feel like getting creative! But yeah, when I grew up all the women (so, yes, probably your moms and aunts!) kept their perfumes and sometimes their lipsticks on the mirrored vanity trays. They really dress it up nicely, but don't forget to clean and dust them! Windex works good!

Oh my freaking god! i'm so jealous!! That spin wheel, where's it from?? Would love to have one my self!

Thank you! The spinning MU storage is from QVC. Quite a lot of YouTube collections showed it and finally someone mentioned where it came from so I bought it! Naively I thought it would be perfect to hold my entire MU collection, but obviously I was not aware at how addicting this would become!!!
