Eyebrow Threading – I did it again.

By Shimmer on October 3, 2008

I’ve talked on Glam Soup about the first time out the gate with my threading experience. I was not happy.  Thin brows are not becoming on me. I’ve spent a few years (YEARS!) regrowing them from nearly a decade of over plucking, over waxing, and just…abuse.

Tuesday I went and had them threaded again…first time since March. Ok. For you ladies who are worried that they’ll take your brows too thin…I recommend drawing on your brows super shaped the way you want them, and telling the tech that you only want them to thread what’s NOT colored in.  That’s how I did it Tuesday and I’m super duper happy with the results. I won’t complain at all about them.

Yeah, it kinda stings a bit, your hair IS being ripped out at the root, after all, but…it’s worth it.

Now the downside…post thread/wax breakouts.  I get bumps, no matter what I do to avoid them.  How do I make them go away?  The lady asked if I wanted her to do my upper lip (which is, in my mind, a hint that I needed it, so I let her do it…) and now my face is broken out. :(   How can I make this go away faster, suggestions?
