Barbie Inspired FOTD

By LMD84 on June 3, 2011

I loved the Mac barbie collection.  It was a lovely collection with some really fun colours.  The sad thing is that all I purchased were lip glosses. And seeing as this collection came out in 2007 it is no shocker that I no longer have them.  So I re-created the promo image look using dupe products from Mac and Urban Decay.  Keep reading to see how I created this look.

Keep your cool with Magically Cooling Liquid Powder

By LMD84 on May 26, 2011
So exactly what is the Magically Cooling Liquid Powder and what do you use it for?  I have owned mine since MAC first released these powders with the Disney Villains collection back in October 2010.  This powder is the strangest powder I have ever used.  Mainly because if you shake the pot, the powder actually moves as if it were a liquid.  However when you open the lid you can see it is most definitely a powder.  However when you actually apply it the powder has a wet and cooling sensation!  I have honestly used nothing like this powder and I do admit to liking the wet feeling so much that I sometimes apply it to the back of my hand just for fun.

Sexy violet and blue tutorial

By LMD84 on May 23, 2011

I thought that I would do a tutorial of one of my favorite night out looks.  It is quite a dramatic blue and violet smokey eye.  If you wanted to make it even more pretty you could always add some reflects blue glitter from MAC on top of the blue shadow to really make the look pop.

MAC Big Bounce Shadows – a mini review

By LMD84 on May 19, 2011

The MAC Flighty collection has been out in some countries for a little while now and by now most people are giving the Big Bounce shadows negative reviews. So I thought I would throw my two cents in because I actually think these shadows are hit and miss and you can actually make at least one of the shades work.
