We’ve all wished our makeup would last longer and stay fresh all day long. When approached about these mists, I admit a fair level of “yeah, right” and to being more than a little dubious. It honestly sounds too good to be true, a fixative for makeup that holds it in place without causing breakouts or harming sensitive skin.

One of my major complaints about certain foundations is that it will ‘settle’ as the day goes on, and that just ain’t pretty, I don’t care who you are. I’ve been using 10 Years Younger in a variety of settings, including my gym…both when I’m working and playing, in the bar, in the Jeep, in the yard, and out with my family and friends. Thus far, it’s held up to all of those settings really really well, and has performed exactly as I had hoped it would.

The mist is super fine, and not drying or sticky AT ALL, and once sprayed it’s practically undetectable. I was afraid that it would make my face feel somewhat tight and ‘sealed’ but that never happened, and my skin felt totally breathable and lush all day long.

I’ve lamented, loudly, that from May through September, doing makeup while living in Texas is two steps above pointless, because it melts, slips, slides, and moves off, particularly when working in a gym. Lets not even start talking about the mascara runs and eyeliner smudges, because I may cry.

Nothing is going to keep the makeup on 100% perfect all day long, and to expect anything like that would be foolish…but for the makeup to stay pretty and soft and smudge free for 8 hours instead of 1.5 is remarkable. I’m exceptionally impressed with the way this product has worked.
