Dita Von Teese 1950s Pin Up Inspired Make Up Tutorial Using MAC

By JessicaHarlow on February 1, 2009

A 1950s Pin Up look inspired by Dita Von Teese. A great look if you’re planning on dressing up an old Hollywood actress or pin up. Pretty simple but getting the liner right, getting the lashes on, and putting on the red lipstick can take some time. I hope you enjoyed! Thank you for watching =)

PRODUCTS USED:
EYES:
MAC Paint Pot in “Painterly” used as a base. (You could also use Urban Decay’s Primer Potion or Too Faced Shadow Insurance. Any eyelid primer that works best for you is fine.)
MAC Eyeshadow in “Bisque” (Put all over the eye)
MAC Eyeshadow in “Wedge” (Put in the crease)
Make Up Forever Eye shadow in “#17″ (A dark chocolate brown to darken the crease up.)
Wet N’ Wild Mega Eyes Shadow Trio in “Egyptian Sands” (The lightest color is the “shimmery beige” I applied as a highlight and on the lids)
MAC Fluidline Gel Liner in “Blacktrack” (Applied with an angled liner brush by MAC #266)
Ardell Lashes #120 (Any lashes that have a winged shape where the lashes go from shorter to longer work fine)

CHEEKS:
Lancome Blush in “Rose Fresque”

LIPS:
Sephora Lip Pencil in “Red 45″
MAC Lipstick in “Russian Red”
