Daringly Different at Ella-Studio
I love and get so much personal enjoyment out of the tradition of mailing beautiful holiday cards to friends and loved ones. I’m always on the look out for fresh and original designs that focus on the spirit of the holiday rather than religious interpetation.
If you’re like me you might be tired of cookie cutter holiday cards with simperingly sweet holiday greetings and best wishes… I want to introduce you to Ella Studios off the cuff holiday expressions line.
I shared this cheeky version of holiday cheer with my husband and he insisted we order a handful of the “It’s that time of year… Fuck!” greeting cards to send to our most intimate friends and family, the rest of you get to enjoy the cookie cutter cards. 
Ella Studio makes several different and unique lines of letterpress cards, notepads, and sticky notes -all of which are produced and packaged by shop owner Lisa. Cards run $4.49 each, 3 for $11.95 or 10 for $36.95.

The holidays are coming and I’m working on a project for Specktra readers and members that I am incredibly excited about! I don’t know how I’m ever going to top this event, but it’s time to clue the community at large in. This holiday season I’m giving back to the community and members who have supported and grown Specktra into the great place that you’ve come to know and love. I’ve been busy brainstorming and working with Specktra staff to come up with really fun ideas… Everything is starting to come together and hopefully you will be a excited as I am once plans are revealed.
To give you a small hint, the theme for one of the promotions is “Haul A Days�. You’re going to love this, I can’t wait to unveil the details! MAC Cosmetics set to release mineral foundation in early 2008
MAC Cosmetics broke ground on several new product concepts this year, many of which enjoyed popularity among consumers. MAC is set to launch another new product soon- one whos market is primarily dominated by small business and drugstore lines, mineral foundation. Starting in early 2008, February / March, MAC will debut a new mineral foundation that will be packaged with an applicator. Sure to fill a much needed gap for those who long for a mineral solution to their needs from the brand, there’s confidence already that this will be another hit for MAC. More details to come soon on availability and LE vs Permanent status. *Updated to add – This foundation will launch as a Limited Edition product.
Another little upcoming 2008 tidbit for MAC fans… Heatherette for MAC Cosmetics is a definite go, the packaging will be metallic hot pink! /hops around in excitement
