MAC Pro New Neon Pigments

So while at my local mac pro I noticed a new display. Yep, new matte neon pigments in 6 eyepopping colors. We had in there bright pink, bright orange, bright yellow, vivid blue, vivid green, and a bright fuschia. Those aren't the exact colors but I think these pics speak for themselves.

Holy heck were these bright. And intense! They would not come off my hand (i swatched the yellow in the store)

Here is the display in all its neon glory!

Swatches soon of 3/6, I promise!

They are hot and they are seriously bright. The pink and blue are my faves. I saw these in Jan and they are beyond words.

krase, jen-are they seriously that f-in gorgeous? i'm sure (not really) that we'll be told something about them at update next month, but i don't think we'll get to see em. what's the texture like? i'm placing an order tomorrow and will get these if the pics don't even do them justice. what do you think? should i get em? if so, ill get em all.

now why do they have to get these RIGHT AFTER i move away from the pro store?!

are these the same texure as regular mac matte pigments? and if you are posting swatches, could you please compare the bright pink vs. bright fuschia pigment? and the blue vs. marine ultra, the yellow vs. primary yellow, the green vs. emerald green, the orange compares to genuine orange/acid orange (i think i'm done now, got a little too excited)

Ahh! I won't be able to make it to the Pro store for a few months. Are they perm PRO pigments or LE? Are they new or have they been out for awhile (someone saw them 6 months ago?) I neeeed them allll.

I am almost certain they are perm. Here are some swatches for you ladies. I picked up the yellow, pink and orange The orange looks corally doesn't it?

Methinks i need the other 3

L-R Orange, Yellow and Pink








Oh, and forgot to mention. The texture of these is super smooth, kind of like cornstarch

Holy crap, they are BRIGHT! Was the blue anything like Marine Ultra? What did you think of the green?

I didnt compare the colors to any other colors, all i can say is that these are rich, vibrant and super pigmented. Not for the faint of heart at all. Think the most intense blue and green you can find, thats them!

Yay thanks, I hope they're perm 'cause I definitely can't afford them right now!! I can't wait to see more swatches and some comparisons, a few of them remind me of other pigments. That yellow looks like Primary Yellow to me so I don't know. Ugh being a pigment junkie is an expensive habit...

The pics don't show how bright they are. They look amazing, IRL. Texture is the same as the other matte pigments, IMO. Get 'em all!!! Mine are on their way.

They did have names, but nothing creative. Pretty much the color names. I will try to go back tomorrow to confirm exact names.

I am almost positive they are perm, just like the additions to the e/s and pro l/s
