Ugh the shadows don't look good at all. PASS

Wow I think I may pass on these liners too. The purple and gold one look nice. But honestly, they don't fascinate me I guess I was just wishing for something more va va voooom bright! I feel like, they are too close to the kohl powers, where most of them just end up looking dark on the eyes. Again, I will have to see these in person.

I went to Ulta the other day and I was drawn to the UD 24/7 liners in their ciye travel sizes. They have 2 of the sets which are gorgeous! And the colors are so bright and vivid. I think they would be better than these but this is just my opinion.

UGHHHHH I've said it before, but I NEED Wolf. I am all kinds of obsessed with the smudgy, smeary, morning-after rocker eye makeup lately. NEEEEED Wolf. And maybe Black Russian, but the navy glitter is throwing me.

Pass on the shadows, they have no pay off and are not pigmented at all.
You have to pack a LOT on before getting some color.
I am NW15. Maybe that it is slightly better for a darker complexion though.
The liners have amazing colors but feel really soft, a bit like the Stila ones.
I hope that they won't break too much when we sharpen then...

I noticed that when collections are released people get postal cards in the mail letting them know the new collection is out. Is there some special mailing list you have to get on to get these? I've not gotten a single card yet and I've been signed up on their website for months now .

Normally, I'm such a sucker for eyeshadows... but I think I am safe to say that these look blah. I might end up with 1, but I have no desire for any of the others. Yay! That means more mula for liners!!!

Im there with you. I have been signed up for years and I have only received ONE in the mail (Neo Sci Fi). It kinda makes me mad. I received my Fafi one from the counter b/c they wanted to get rid of them lol

Yeah, the last one I got was for Cult of Cherry, but I didn't get one for Neo Sci-Fi... Electroflash (did they have one?) or Sonic Chic (did they have one?) Lol. Basically none for the summer collections.

I got 3 postcards sent to me this year:Cult Of Cherry,Naughty Nauticals and the N collection.They were sent from Macy's corp.and I only get them if my counter is having an event.Although my counter did also have events for Heatherette and Fafi and I didn't get one for those

eh, it looks like I will be skipping this collection. After seeing all the info about the holliday collections I'm not so much into this one. I already have a bunch of the UD liners and am in the process of collecting the rest...

About the MAC postcard thing, I also only received two so far, Fafi and Neo Sci Fi. I wanna know how to get them all as well..

That is a great idea! We should all do that hoping that would release postcards in the US for all collections as they do in Asia. Not fair!

My fav MA from my MAC counter just gave me a call to give me a heads up that they got this and the other collections in stock!! I LOVE HER!!! lol. She's already got the list of the liners I want and will put them aside on hold for me!! I will be checking out the other collections when they put them out next week but MA's like her make it a joy to shop at MAC.

i got to sneak peek the collection today and the only thing that absolutely love is the pearlglide liners. the shadows were kinda pathetic. i swatched alot of them on my hand, and i was like, "where is the color?" you cant even really pack them on that hard because they are that sheer. they remind me alot of sephora eyeshadows, pretty in the packaging, but when you go to use them, not much payoff. on the other hand.. i swatched the liners around 3:50 eastern time and i didnt leave the mall until 6:45 and they stayed on my hand, even with me rummaging through my purse and accidently wiping my hand against my pants, they did not smudge at all. i am definetly getting those next week.

Agreed!! My MA tried to smudge them on purpose and they didn't budge at all. Just very very light smudging but barely!! She said they went on like powerpoints. Totally worth it!!! I wish i could've gone into to see them in person today because i'm sure she would've given me a sneak peek but i can't make it in till next week. If anything i think everyone should get at least one liner because these seem totally worth it!!

trust me, give it a miss. they are terribly sheer. only some have a little color to them, but not much. the liners on the other hand, very nice.

Swatches of Miss Fortune in the swatch thread! I couldn't quite capture the right colour since I only have a craptastic webcam.

The colour is purplish brown with purple shimmer. I quite like it actually, it looked good across the whole eyelid too (but not on the camera pics lol).
Oh and if you liked Play on Plums mineralized eye shadow i'm sure you'll like this liner too! Oh and it really won't budge. I swatched it and I'm trying to rub it off but it doesn't move.
