I'd say more purple. Description says "eggplant" and I agree, but I see some brownish tones as well (at least I do). Oh and I'm sure you wont look bruised because it has all that purple glitter

Though the liners aren't smudge resistant, they're pretty damn close. I was rubbing them all night to see how much would come off- since glittery products are prone for that kind of thing- and they were pretty solid. Like I said before too, glitter fallout was minimal to none.

I didn't swatch Rave at all, but seeing the swatches here, I'm enamored. I'm definitely getting a Wolf, and Rave will probably be coming home as well.

This collection could've just been about the liners and I don't think anyone would mind.

Im putting them on my waterline regardless--- if I break out in some monstrous rash around my waterline then I'll know better next time. But it's worth the risk! .. I love my liners on my waterline!

Oh gosh! BE CAREFUL. I think the warning is less about the possibility of reaction and more about increased risk of getting glitter particles in your eye. If you get a glitter piece in there & then rub your eye b/c it feels irritated, you could definitely scratch the surface of you eyeball! OUCH!

I am so torn with this collection. I know I will end up with at least half of the liners... but which ones??? They are all so purdy!! I will definitely be checking these out in person. Has anyone tried them on their waterline yet??? I, too, use everything on my waterline, even if its not "waterline" approved. My eyes are pretty tough...

I tried to stay a away as much as I can from this place only b/c I have been so busy with school and I have such an intense exam tomorrow. But I am looking forward to acing my exam and heading off to the MAC counter for my reward

I found it very easy to pass on the shadows. Although I really liked them, I don't care for a duo compact and they seemed so unlike MAC. The colours were so pretty though, just not MAC enough for me. I guess I like de-potting too much.

I wanted to stay away from these but Rave and Bankroll are screaming for me to come get them. I don't think I can resist much longer. I may have to order them. I'm afraid if I go in person all the liners will come home with me.

ohh i narrowed down to just black russian and rave but after seeing the new swatches i think i need the blue one. But i have a few dark blue liners and never use them!
still cant decide about wolf, looks amazing but i also have a couple of greys, inc the UD one which looks a dupe but im not loving the line its giving right now

Oh I'll let you know for SURE. Right now my sox are getting hammered by the twins (or basically- mark buehrle's horrendous pitching is giving up th game for us) and if these realy ARENT waterline safe im going to sneak into each and every sox player's room at night and scribble all over their waterlines with them.

They remind me too much of clinique- which reminds me too much of wearing clinique happy durring all of junior high.

I *somehow* scratched my eyeball on Monday and it is still irritated! No contacts, no makeup, nothing is going on it til it's better...so yea ladies, be careful!

Me too! My eye is killing me! I had to take my contacts out, and have been without makeup since Monday. It's watering like a faucet, and is very light sensitive. I don't take any chances... if it's not eye safe, it doesn't go anywhere near my eye. I had a BAD experience with non-eye safe pigments... never again.

i'm excited about the pencils, having felt the shadows...... I wish MAC had never wasted the time or the money producing them.... awful, awful, awful. They feel like toy eyeshadow, like pretty pretty princess eyeshadow you give to a five year old; so sheer you can't even see them.
