My poor, pathetic haul is only:
Petticoat
Baby Sparks
Pomposity

I'm way over budget this month. Poop. I'll have to hope some other stuff is still here next month. I figured since Soft and Gentle is Perm I can get that anytime and since Stark Naked is similar to Gentle, I'll skip for now (unhappily). But, I have to save for other collections....I don't like having to practice restraint. It pisses me off.

Ugh I agree 100% Im not necessarily over budget, but hauling every 2 weeks is KILLING me. Its not like Im complaining, but I just wish the collections were more spaced out. Im not really at a good place with jobs/money right now. So I have to pick and choose wisely. I got a quad this month (from specktra), Manish haul, this haul....there has to be another one that I just forgot about.

Dont worry Rbella we can be broke and pissed off together. My haul was: Petticoat, 181 brush, Baby Sparks, Quiet please.

Maybe I can actually buy a coat soon lol

Part of mine is for my birthday (well ok, thats an excuse) but I'm also cutting back on the brush sets - I'm only getting one, one lipstick set & one eyeshadow palette

What does anyone think about the SuperSheen Loose powders? I can't decide which one to get. Is Petticoat also a must? I am NW 20. Thanks!

I thought about getting: So Ceylon and Silver Aura...but I want to see those in person before I buy....because they might look terrible with my skin tone. (NW30)

for me I bought them all jijiji...I got heat element and Illusionary/burning ambition. Maybe later I will buy earthly riches and family silver, I'm letting my wallet to recuperate

I think i'm just going to be ordering all 3 MSFS because I don't have time to actually check them out in person & am worried the two LE ones will sell out fast.

..but can somebody help:
What are the loose mineralized powders (silver aura, etc) - what are they supposed to be for?

Argghh I officially have no money, I need some fast for this collection! lol. I think I am just getting Petticoat but I totally want the 181 (i have the 182 and it is amazingggg) and I want Soft & Gentle but hopefully I can get that at a later date. I really wanted the loose shimmery powders but I am going to have to pass, since I have plenty of MSFs to do the same job I guess.

No stupid question.
Most of us use MSFs as a blush or as a highlighter. They give an awesome sheen if you apply them with the 187, 188 or 182.
You can use them on cheeks, under your eyebrows or on decollete.

what would everyone use for the sheersheen powders?? Still either the 182 or the 181? Im sooo confused about if i should get the 181 or the 182--- i know im going to get one of them but which one??? If its IMPARATIVE that i get the 182, I will-- but if I can get by with the 181- id be a verrrrrrryyy happy girl

Of the MES up now, I have two: heat/element and Earthly Riches. I absolutely adore both of them. The red from Mi'Lady is also gorgeous with heat/element.

As for the brushes, I'd say one could get by with the 181, but the 182 is definitely a useful brush to pick up when the budget allows.

Hmmm for now it's either the Gold Deposit or So Ceylon. Since So Ceylon is LE I think I may have to make that a priority but I need to get to a MAC counter to try it out....

Soft & Gentle is perm so you can get that one later .

I want to order Petticoat online and 2 day ship it . But noooo.... I will be at a MAC store Friday and BY a MAC store Thursday since I have a job interview and apparently there's a store a block away LOL. :: Taps fingers on table :: Must. Wait. For. Petticoat.

Petticoat definitely since its LE. You'll be able to get Soft & Gentle another day(or get it as a gift if you're lucky)

I'm not sure if this was asked already (I looked!) but Soft&Gentle work as a bronzer on nw20 skin? It doesnt look that dark from the picture on the website but the description makes me wonder. Also, those who have Gold Deposit, would it make my NW20 skin look like an orange disco ball?? Or would that be the better bronzer?

Thanks, I havent been following this collection too much and now that I have my Manish goodies, I need to direct my focus here

I have the 182 and the 181... and I love both. My 181 is actually getting more usage... so personally I think that is the one to get. I love it for the mineral blushes, beauty powders, etc. It will be great for the new powders imo.

^^ I agree with the 181, I don't have it (lol) but I have the 182, and while I use it a lot I use mostly for powder and not for cheek color. So, if you're going to use it to buff blushes or the sheersheen (is that the name?) then yea, 181. But the 182 would be nice to get at a later date!

no, soft and gentle is too light to be used as a bronzer. so ceylon would be a better use for this (tho i hate these being used as a bronzer cuz they are far too shimmery-that's what bronzer is for)

Ugh, I hate being addicted to MAC's MSF's. I even got Glissade, which is still a glitter bomb, hot mess.

It's good to know I can at least wait on Soft & Gentle, which is perm. More time to save up- and hopefully I'll be getting that schweet PRO discount soon enough.

I wonder how Silver Aura and Silver Dusk compare? The latter is really glittery, which is off-putting when you just want shimmer.

I have the 182 and love it. I use it every day to buff my loose powder or MSF natural to my face and even for MSF sas a blush, but I have big cheecks If you're mainly going to use it for blush get the 181 since it's LE and you can always get the 182 later.
