I saw this collection in Paris last week and I was pleased. Very much. Yes, I agree with the rest that Petticoat is gorgeous. Without a doubt. Nothing like Light Flush which I was fearing. I will order this one.

BUT and I the only one that thinks So Ceylon is fug? I don't like it. I was thinking it was lighter in my head from all the online pix I have seen. I noticed it had sliver glitter on the dome and I didn't even bother swatching it! Soft and Gentle=a lighter version of Shimpagne which I don't have any use for.

I'm caveing in. going to get soft & gentle, petticoat, silver aura & lucent.

might get so ceylon though. still undecided on this.

At least on me when I apply it the silver glitter doesn't show up at all.
I even hadn't notice that there was silver glitter before. After I read your post I had to go a check mine if it really had silver glitter

So I am finally getting a chance to check out & play with my new MSFs & I had the idea to put them on my eyes. I haven't yet, but really want to, lol. Can someone tell me if its ok, or a bad thing to do, thanks!!!

I don't know about others but I've used the shimmeri wide of the New View duos on my lids without any porblems

HELP :
Okay so im didnt of getting either soft and gentle or so Ceylon , but I cant decide which one to get! I was thinking so ceylon first then I changed my mine to soft and gentle since I have like 6 bronzers =P But im not sure yet.. Will they look good on my nc42(43) skin tone? Which one should I get?

So, I had never tried MSF's before. What the hell was I thinking!? They are God's gift to Makeup. Wow. I put on Petticoat over So Ceylon today and it is perfection. I think I need backups.

I don't believe that mine has glitter.. Shimmer, yes, but not glitter or at least the glitter is fine enough that I can't differentiate it from glitter.

I don't think it's particularly transparent, but it isn't dark, IMO (I'm thinking of some of the Nars blushes I've tried).

Haha. The glitter was the second thing I noticed about So Ceylon and the first being how dark it was.

Lucky girl! I was soooooooo ready to place my online order but stopped because they wont ship a SHADESTICK to my military address. WTF? Why wont they ship a shadestick to me? Haha. I need my MAC fix!

You're right. From what I remember it may or maynot have actual glitter but rather large shimmer. I def noticed the silver though and it was a turn off for me. And yes, its not particulary DARK as say, Metal Rock, but in my mind I thought it was going to be much lighter and softer.

I use Metal Rock on my eyes and don't have any problemsI'd say go for it!

I only got Petticoat from this collection and it looks lovely on the apples of the cheek. You can definitely start light and gradually build up. At first I was scared when I swatched it on my hands, but the SA applied it on me and I liked it. I was thinking of getting So Ceylon but was not really pleased with how it looks on me.

I placed an order today on MAC.com and bought all four of the MSFs that they put out. Now I am only missing Metal Rock and Naked you and I will have a complete MSF collection!! Woo-hoo!

Gold spill is really pretty but I have to admit that I have used it one time. I really tend to use the pinker MSFs more than anything else. My gold spill has a lot of brown in it which is why I think it gets ignored.

Okay I take back what I said about Silver Aura, it's actually very nice (if a little messy).

I'm also getting to really like Petticoat. It goes great over my pink toned blushes, while Light Flush looks good over my coral ones.

Am I the only one who prefers loose beauty powder to the loose mineralize powders? I'm not exactly sure what the difference is between them though.

My mom brought me home petticoat today from vegas.. I FRIGGIN LOVE IT! I was absolutley NOT going to get it but its SO GORGEOUS as a blush- im in looooooooove!
