According to Venom on LJ,

"MAC is making a whole unit dedicated to Mineral makeup. this is a repromotion of Mineralize Satinfinish, Mineralize Loose, Mineralize Skinfinish Natural, Mineralize Blush, Mineralize Eyeshadows(repromotes.. but.. every 6 months mac is putting new mineral shadows on this unit), and Brushes."

This is due to start on Oct 15.

Feel free to discuss here.

Re: MAC - Mineralize Discussion

So we get Sonic Chic and Electroflash now and more MES and blushes in October (November here)?
Alright One more reason just to pick up three blushes from Sonic Chic now!

I love the idea of this new perm line!!

Re: MAC - Mineralize Discussion

I wonder if it's becoming cheaper to create the products, so they're amping up the releases.

Re: MAC - Mineralize Discussion

Every 6 months? So will all of the items, including the shadows & blushes, be permanent if thats the case?

I think so.

Re: MAC - Mineralize Line Discussion

I wish I knew if any of the Mineralized Blushes from Sonic Chic will late become part of the perm line because then I can hold off on them, and spend more on the other ones!

Re: MAC - Mineralize Line Discussion

I wish i knew which Mineralized Blushes were going to be permanent too. I think I'll just pick up the must haves from Sonic Chic then....

I am so glad everythings not LE though. I can take a breather knowing that the stuff will always be available

That would be awesome!

Re: MAC - Mineralize Line Discussion

I agree with shimmer, wasn't the reason msfs are so limited and rare because they are difficult to produce? I mean, I am seeing a ton of brands come out with their own "baked" products. Maybe mac has found a way to make it more affordable to crank them out.

I am sure that once our board MA's go to update, they can let us know... I am hoping that 2 of the 3 that I want will be back in October so I can get away with getting only 1 now

I'm sure hoping too! I narrowed my list down to four blushes now, but if I can make it any smaller, I will gladly do that!

Looks that way!

Re: MAC - Mineralize Line Discussion

According to the poster on LJ, the shadows (not sure about blushes) will stay part of the permanent line for 6 months and then be retired and new ones will come out. So cool!

Re: MAC - Mineralize Line Discussion

This seems intriguing. I've never tried the Mineralized Eye Shadows or Skinfinishes. I do use the Mineralize Loose powder as foundation and love it. I cannot wait to try these.

Re: MAC - Mineralize Line Discussion

That's an interesting concept, having the MES being a semi-limited product...that way I don't have to rush to get them but I still, ya know, HAVE to get them.

i most definately will let ya'll know!

Re: MAC - Mineralize Line Discussion

I hope the semi-permanent line of MES will be duos, then I will have more resistant against them. If it is something similar to Flashtronic ones, then I will be dead meat.

Re: MAC - Mineralize Line Discussion

So...it sounds like they are STILL limited edition. They just stay on at the counters for a longer time. But, you know, once they're gone, they're gone.

Re: MAC - Mineralize Line Discussion

Alright! I saw the colour story today! It is described as "The House of Minerals" and will have everything mineral for the mineralize fanatics!

Due out on October 16, 2008, Mineralize Skinfinish/Loose SPF 15, Mineralize Satinfinish, Mineralize Skinfinish Natural will of course be featured but there will also be alot of new things introduced. I do not have the physical book with me (YET) so I don't have the exact details, but I did take notes on the most note-worthy items.

According to the description, there will be 6 "best-selling" Mineralize Blushes featured, though the actual colour story lists all nine. This leads me to believe that the most popular items will be the ones featured and since they have not even been released yet, there is no way to know which will be there. The description of the collection also mentions two Shimmer Skinfinish shades will be made permanent. The actual colour story mentioned no "Shimmer" powders, nor did it mention any normal Mineralize Skinfinishes so they must still be unsure of which ones being featured. Perhaps the Soft And Gentle Mineralize Skinfinish from Sheer Minerals, since that one had a symbol next to it indicating it being permanent in that colour story. A little confusing but still exciting!

Also, there will be repromoted Mineralize eyeshadow duos. Described as being the best-selling eyeshadows of the past, there will be three A Muse duos, and three Antiquitease duos. The colors featured are as follows:

Engaging
Earthly Riches
Family Silver
Heat/Element
Illusionary/Burning Ambition
Brightside/Gallery Gal

This is great for anyone that missed these awesome shades! I can't help but notice that the mineralize single shadows from Flashtronic being missing (I loved those ones), and also the ACTUAL best seller from Antiquitease, Mi'lady. Perhaps we will see more older shades being repromoted later in the future?

Hope everyone is as excited as I am!!

Re: MAC - Mineralize Line Discussion

Yay for Earthly Riches coming back! I swapped mine away in a fit of frustration with it, so now its like the MAC gods smiled upon me! lol
