Re: mascara that gives the look of falsies?

okay, i got that fan brush and OMG!! holy freaking lashes lol! it is sooo cool i had to show all my girlfriends and my sis. half of them never even heard of a fan brush either, they were like scared of it.

every girl needs to try it! it is so crazy what it does. my lashes were so beautiful and long, i will prob never touch falsies again. i hated wearing them too! it was so worth the $$$.

I'm another huge fan of the 205 brush. It just makes things so much better.

Re: mascara that gives the look of falsies?

Everyone's lashes are so different to begin with, what works for one would probably do nothing for another. Mascara, unfortunately, is a "seek and ye shall find" makeup item. I would definitely recommend a lash primer, though.

Whoa- I want to buy that lash brush- and the Helena Lash Queen mascara- it's expensive but I've only read positives about it.

Shiseido Mascara Base will truly benefit any kind of mascara you use and create an illusion of great lashes.

Some great mascaras that I can recommend are: Dior Diorshow Mascara, The Socialite Collection Mascara (a bit expensive), Too Face Lash Injection Mascara, Lash Fusion Lash Plump Mascara, Are They Real Mascara? by Hotwax (extremely affordable, under $10), Chanel Inimitable Mascara, Cover Girl Lash Blast (extremely affordable, under $10), and Benefit Bad Girl Mascara.

Re: mascara that gives the look of falsies?

I hate Lash Blast, Great Lash, and all that other stuff that's similar [sorry ladies, its just me, promise!]. My lashes are stupid so those formulas never worked. But for a super false lash look, my go-to is lash stylist. That shit is hardcore. The comb separates and defines pretty good, and I get length and volume. My other HG mascaras are Full N Soft and Lash Discovery [they won't give you the look that you want, but are great for everyday].

I have GOT to get the 205. I'm going to MAC next week, and it's mine.

Lash Stylist is pretty intense (and cheap!), especially over a good primer.

Re: mascara that gives the look of falsies?

Diorshow and Plushlash are HG mascaras for me
A few (3 or more) coats Lasblast works for me in a pinch.

But now I will, like a lot of you ladies, run out and get that fan brush

Re: mascara that gives the look of falsies?

I thought benefit bad gal was the best.. until I went to my mothers makeup and found loreal double extension. (dont know if it's available in the us)
it has the mascara and primer in one. so I didn't care much about it because its a drugstore brand (I know it's wrong) but when I tried it... omg. my lashes get so BIG and so..FULL. I dont know how. Sometimes I put it in the morning but I feel so unconfortable as my lashes are super big, and I know i'll be embarassed if I go out, that I go and do my makeup all over again and use another mascara. really it's insane

Re: mascara that gives the look of falsies?

For my ladies who are ballin' on a budget...my HG's are
Max Factor 2000 Calorie (waterproof only)
Max Factor Volume Couture (waterproof only)
^ REALLY gives my lashes the look of falsies without looking too drag. I'm guessing that's due to the rubbery bendy bristles.
