This collection look gorgeous! I love the packaging. I might get one lipstick, one lipglass, pressed powder and the mystery powder. Might be worth over $100 to spend or just get two things so that I don't spend too much.

I just did a quick Live Chat. The CS rep said that the missing colors should be re-added and the entire collection will be available for sale by the end of the week.

I just went on the website and the Monogram collection is online but all of the products say 'Coming Soon' except for the lipglasses.

The lipglasses seduce me LOL. I think thats all I will be buying. I have 22cents left in my bank account. So gotta not spend and all money i will receive in the future is going to Hello Kitty.

yup. I did the same live chat with a MA. Just wanted to post a transcript of the chat to clear the weird site happenings with the collection.

Nelly: Hi, I have a couple of questions regarding the Monogram collection.
Dianna: Hi Nelly! Sure, how can I help?
Nelly: I was on the website late last night and noticed that the collection was up, and there were more lipsticks and lipglass choices. Are they going to be back up anytime? Also, when are the "coming soon" items going to be available online?
Dianna: Yes, they should be online by the end of the week.
Nelly: awesome
Nelly: thanks for your help!
Dianna: You're welcome!



I didn't really think I would be all that interested in this collection, but as it turns out I think I might get some lipglass and lipstick. Maybe even a powder. The packaging is kind of nice. I bet it will be better IRL.

I think the price of this collection is a complete joke and utterly laughable (personal opinion, of course)

But in Canada, and I know its worse in the UK,
If I bought a mystery powder and a lipstick I would be paying 97 dollars with tax. For two items.

You can buy 9 lipglasses at the cco for that price.

I'm going to skip this collection right now since I'm saving up for the HK collection and I was going to get something off of the website and I had to hold myself back since I'm going to get the Fafi Eyes 1 off of Ebay next week and I'm going to save the rest of my money.

on the macpro site, Status Symbol l/s is showing up as being pro only... I wonder if that's on purpose, or an accident...? Monodramatic gloss was showing up pro only yesterday, but now the symbol is gone. I wonder why the mac chat lady didn't mention that

I like the mystery powders better than the sheerspark powders, personally. I have less use for the sheerspark powders b/c I basically just use them as a highlight only. They can't be used for much else. HTH. The mystery powder is usually at least a little more pigmented and can be used on my pale ass skin as an enhancer for my cheeks....

To be honest, I am a bit surprised at how similar this MAC Couture collection is like the ones in the past. I mean, those didn't inspire mass frenzy, major love and they didn't sell out that quickly, so why keep doing it? At this point, it's just the same products over and over in a pretty package. Who is dying for more Sheersparks, btw? I'm guessing not many. I think that next year's couture collection could kick up some serious buzz if they shook up the products a bit and surprised us. Couture needs some CPR.
I like the Sheersparks from the original Couture collection. They weren't the same consistency as last year. I might go check them out this weekend, if their nice an creamy, I might get a bronze/gold & peach. I like using them as a base & highlight on the eyes. Maybe on the collar & breast bones, depending on the story I'm doing.

Well, for the Sheer Mystery Powder, it's 50USD (60CAD) for the Monogram collection, and 90USD (maybe more in CAD) for the Hello Kitty Kouture. However, the Kitty Kouture's will be packaged in a silver powder compact with Hello Kitty outlined in white Swarovski crystals with a pink crystal bow on a black background.

In my opinion, the Sheer Mystery Powder in Kitty Kouture has a better packaging though it's more expensive. So don't buy it now and start saving money!

Well I guess it will be available both online and in stores tomorrow. And all four lippies and LGs are back. I went ahead and purchased 'Posh Life' on Tuesday. I hope I like it!

Does anyone know about the glosses? Why are they called "lipgloss", not "lipglass" on the mac site? MAC PRO | Monogram Lipgloss Lol, or am I being too picky

Do you ladies think I could use the darkest Mystery Powder as a setting powder, or to touch up? I have no experience with them, but there's NO WAY I'm hitting the mall this time of year to play I have oily skin. TIA!!
