Wow I am kinda annoyed that the mystery powder is so small! I ordered it and am waiting for it in the mail. If it is puny then its going back, I don't care if it gets tossed. I don't appreciate Mac trying to downsize and play these games to make things look larger. $50 is a decent Amt to spend on a powder, especially one that's the size of a blush! Well at least the lip glosses aren't as bad as the dazzleglass size wise.

The brushes look so amazing online. I really want both the 224 and 129 brush!! I don't own any of the MAC's brushes but I've heard so much about them. I really want some now lol

Thank you!! Whew!! You saved me!!

I was so itchy to order them Wednesday, but held off 'cause I hadn't seen any reviews.....I ordered flourish LS, both brushes and dark secret mystery powder (now that I'm reading how small they are, I'm so mad.) Should receive my order next week.

I received posh life LG yesterday --- ordered it when it 1st appeared on the website. It is no better or worse than 2006 and 2007's LGs. But I really wanted it to be pigmented like style minx or love rules.

They are amazing, unbelievably soft and of high quality. Get them if you can. I have last year's brushes and am waiting on this year's brushes in the mail.

But I do hope they have different brushes next year.

I can't find the mystery powder in Mediem Plus anywhere in Toronto. I am thinking of actually skipping this collection as now I have seen the depth of Hello Kitty and I want it all. LOL

"Distinguished" appears to be almost identical to C Thru and "Identity" is almost identical to Cherry Blossom. Just a lot more expensive.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I need swatches. I am trying to decide what to buy! I am a lipglass chick and want to buy all 4. I am so unsure about the sheersparks at this time because i do not know what will look good on my NW45 skin (suggestions). Also, I am unsure about the Mystery Powders. Should I just wait for the mystery powder for HK?

You are so right about the brushes. To be sure, I had the MUA let me feel them against regular brushes and they seemed softer and denser. The 224 seemed better shaped as well, a little tighter.

Nordstrom also had a brush kit coming out next week for $125 I think it had a 187, 217, 208, 168 in a black clutch.

I just ordered Identity, Monodramatic, and Posh Life lipglass. I went ahead and ordered the Charming Garnet bag also. I can't find any good swatches or good comments about the sheersparks powders, so I think I am going to pass on those!

I caved got the Marque l/s ...I think the Identity l/g is too close to Baby Sparks and I have 3 of those ...so I passed on that..
But that is all I want from this collection so I'm good!

FYI, I tried the color, "Dark Secret" in the Mystery Powder, and it's soooo soft and sheer. It disappeared instantly into my NC45 skin. Kinda has that soft feel of the MUFE HD powder. I don't think it's worth getting if you're light skinned, and wanted it for contouring, cuz it's just sooo shear (IMHO). "Shadester" would probably work just as fine, and is a fraction of the price!

The packaging is nice in person though! And the brushes? HOLY CRAP, sooo nice! Still, I'm only telling u for color reference, NOT cuz I think y'all should buy.

Sorry, 1 more thing, did anyone else feel like the L/S are just glorified slimshines??

I received an e-mail 11/28/08 from Nordstrom that the "Perfect Style" brushes were part of their "private beauty shopping event". These are the same brushes that was supposed to be a SAKS exclusive. They're not of the same quality as the Monogram ones. They're regular full-size brushes in a black/pink interior bag.

I know some people missed out with the Holiday brush sets. So FYI, the clutch is $10 less on the Nordstrom website if you're buying it.
