xD I tend to use the lippies I don't use as much when I'm sitting around doing nothing, so it kind of defeats the purpose of the lippie! I should just use it. Hahahaha.

Hahaha, I do the same!Because yeah, even when I'm sitting around with the lip color on for no reason, I get bored and want to try another one on!

^^ Is this normal behavior, or is this some kinda makeup-obsessed behavior that only we're capable of pulling off?

Um, given that many people don't even where makeup to work, out on the town, etc, I'd say it's the latter.

Yes, it is very orange red on me as well. Its really sad because I love corals and orangey colors but they HATE me.

Good idea. Too bad I didn't get Splendid though.

Re: MAC Cosmetics Dame Edna Discussion Part II

I didnt purchase Splendid too but I have similar coral lipglasses, so I use them as replacement.

Definitely the latter.

I've been exhibiting this sort of behavior since I was a preteen.

I put on make up, especially lipsticks, an innumerable amount of times eeeeeeevery day. I have never, ever in my life, gotten tired or bored with trying out lip combos and doing eyeshadow swatch combos on my hands and arms.

Re: MAC Cosmetics Dame Edna Discussion Part II

I know, anyway, the best time to experiment is in the comfort of your home! So that provides justification for us makeup addicts. Besides I don't ever hit pan on anything, I don't feel like I'm "wasting" makeup by putting them on at home.

Re: MAC Cosmetics Dame Edna Discussion Part II

I was going to get Coral Polyp last week but I was afraid that it would look to bright on my lips. I wanted to get Splendid but I'll probably wait for it.

From what I have seen on this thread, you either love or hate Coral Polyp. Hopefully you can try it on your lips before buying it.

Re: MAC Cosmetics Dame Edna Discussion Part II

Hopefully that I will. It looks so pretty when I saw pics of it in the Product Swatches board. Maybe I'll purchase it soon if they still have it.

Thanks!! I am IN LOVE WITH IT. I normally dislike purples on me but the soft lavender that was created by mixing Dame's Desire and Climate Blue together is just sooooo gorgeous. :[ I'm gonna miss wearing it to work, but at least that look helped soccer moms know that Dame's colors were wearable.

I plan to get the Royal Tour trio too! Hopefully it isn't sold out, but my MA told me it's the more popular trio among customers...

It absolutely is the more popular one, at least around here. While both are fairly versatile, the Royal Tour trio contains very feminine shades and can be worn as defined, different colors, or all mixed and blended together for a soft purple wash. The other trio has a light silver, midtone skyblue, and silvery grey-black. This is scarier to most people, the darkest shade in particular. I myself find that trio rather uninspired and uninspiring. They're both nice, but Royal Tour is certainly the winner when compared to each other.

And I have to note that both have a 'bad' color. I have found that both Royal Tour and Wisteria (oddly enough, the shades the palettes are named after) apply a little chalky, fade easily, and are pretty hard to build.

Re: MAC Cosmetics Dame Edna Discussion Part II

^^ I thought Wisteria trio was gonna be the more popular one though, because it seemed to have received more love here at Specktra.

Bunny, I hope you're not missing Royal Tour too much anymore.

Yes it is. I've already bought 2 lippies, 1 l/g, 2 n/l and one e/s trio. I was looking forward to DE all along, but the packaging really grew on me. Shucks I wish I hadn't bought the Red She Said lippie so I can justify buying Kangarouge.

Or... you half-lemm it for a while and then just don't care anymore.
