If my dog could type, she'd let you ladies know that her favorite item from the ICON collections is the pink 168 brush that she found one day and chewed on.
She's too cute for me to get mad at, so every time I see the toothmarks on the handle it just makes me laugh.

K Spectra's lets narrow it down. We have to look @ the past icons & I don't think MAC would repeat an icon.
Our hint was a musician.
My guess would be the following artists:
Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Diana Ross, Cher, Britney Spears (since she's making a comback)
I hope it's Madonna since she just had a 50th b-day.

I just want to know who it is already.. The suspense is killing me

Wishful thinking on my part... Kylie maybe? She may be a bit too young though.

Cher, Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and Joan Jett are all also good guesses.

My other guess is Debbie Harry.

Hey Adina... can you at least tell us that we've stumbled on the name if someone guesses it? you don't have to tell us which one is right, but i'd be excited to know the name is in the thread somewhere!

I knew of MAC at the time but didn't own anything. I'm also sad I didn't get those beautiful pink handle AND pink bristle brushes! Those babies go for A LOT of $$$ on ebay. People want waaaaaaaaaaaaay to much for those brushes. I've seen them for $240 for 3. Crazy!

While I would also love to see a Rihanna or Britney collection, I don't think you can reach Icon status when you are still in your twenties. Rihanna's only had 2 albums so far!!!

I would love to see Tina Turner or Pam Grier.
