That SOHO collection...

I have to have that Steel NP! The RC sounds promising (pink beige always grabs my attention, lol) and I really like the looks of the e/s quad.

I had to google mystic eyes but I'd say Soho's is significantly different.

The top brown isn't as blackened as the Mystic Eye's version.
The pink isn't as white.
The silver, is not a silver IMO at all. This was the one colour that stood out to me and made me go :O, "must have quad." I can't quite place the name though, let's just call it Tea Green. I googled 'names of light green' and then found that colour on Wikipedia if you want to see it. LOL.
The light sort of beige is definitely nothing like the brown of Mystic Eyes.

Sorry, I'm really bad at thinking of dupes. But yeah sorry your going to shell out 60 bucks for this baby. He's NICE. I'm going to go again Tuesday and be back with better details.

I love the swatch! Khaki Rose is so neutral chic! I'm least attracted to Khaki Brun, so let's see if I will pass when I see it iRL.

That Soho quad does look like a cousin of Mystic eyes to me. Thanks for pointing out the differences, TheTeenageMuse, you are right. However, since it is only available online, I guess I'm not going to get my hands on this collection.

I wore Pink Explosion for the first time yesterday and I fell in love with it. It is a happy, face brightening pink! I love Chintz too, so glad I purchased it. But I kept thinking about Rose Dentelle too, do I need it? Or should I wait for Magnolia RC from the holiday collection?

Temptalia has swatches of Marine and Jade eyeliner. Her swatches look bright - Marine didn't look this bright to me previously. Nevertheless, Jade looks beautiful.

I just applied Paradoxal and it has this mysterious sheen when it captures light that draws me in. It applies so smoothly too, I skipped the top coat! I keep staring at my nails.

Elegant and Winthrop, I followed your lead - received my RALs on Thursday - boy are they gorgeous! I also ordered Confidential lipstick......very pretty!! I'm not sure I'm into the darker lip colors for fall, but I will probably get into the swing of things by the time the cool weather rolls around. I tried on Sycamore at Nordie's on Saturday - I liked it ok - I ended up buying the last Camelia RC they had. I am so surprised by all of the colors available - my Nordie's and Macy's don't have nearly that many in stock! I must find somewhere to check these out! Probably a trip to Boston is in order.......

I am excited for the SOHO collection, too! Especially since I haven't been buying as much from other brands lately. The nude pink lippie sounds like a must have for me!! Enjoy your new RAL's Cheryl

Nora -- the closest I have come to finding a plumy pink is MAC's Plumful. Let me know if you have found anything else!

Hi All! I'm at work atm, sucks, but oh well!

Cheryl, Camelia RC is one of my favourites! It's an effortless colour, no liner or gloss required.

Michelle, thanks for the rec. from MAC. I may quickly pop by there today to have a look at the new polishes, so I'll have a look at that as well! I haven't had a chance to look at the Dior lippies yet.

And Cheryl, yep, we are getting close to getting our place! It is pretty much done, they are now in the process of touching up anything that needs to be, and then they will be cleaning it as it is insanely dusty in there after the floors were installed. I guess they don't bother with an empty house to cut the wood out in the garage, everything was covered in a solid layer of saw dust, and me being so OCD about cleaning just wanted to get in there to clean it myself, lol! It'll probably sit empty for a couple of weeks till we go in for the inspection!

I agree, Khaki Rose is insanely beautiful, I badly want to get my hands on this. I will be calling the boutique tomorrow to see if there's any chance of getting it. I haven't had a lemming this bad in a long time.

Glad you're liking PE as well! It really is a great colour. I have been using that with Rose Temptation the last couple of days, RT more as a contour and PE on the apples and quite like it!

hey guys, I just came back from a weekend trip on the lake. The weather was gorgeous and we had an amazing time. Except for the fact that I got sunburnt and can't stop peeling the skin on my chest and nose.

Happy to come here and see lotsa new Chanel info That Khaki Vert n/p is coming home with me for sure.

Thanks for posting this link! Ive been looking all over the internet for swatches of Steel and Strong. Steel is darker than I thought it would be (atleast in this swatch and in that lighting)...but I still like it! It's hard to find swatch pics of the khaki colors too. I did go to that link in an above post for those swatches...they just confirm my love for khaki vert...I'm not digging the other colors!...yet...maybe that's good for my wallet!

So, khaki vert and steel are my like-to-haves

The promo pics for the Soho collection that have been floating around are tinted very blue for some reason. It makes Strong vernis look practically purple (it isn't!), and it looks as though the quad comes with a aqua shade (it doesn't!). The colors in the video and, of course, in the swatch posts are much more accurate, I think.

So, so excited the Les Khakis and Soho Collections will be online. That quad sounds so much better than I imagined, so I just may splurge on that along with the two polishes. I'm definitely going to be up early on the 7th to nab the Soho goodies. I bet they'll go fast!

Ah that picture is pretty accurate for the quad. The blush/highlight/contour is nothing like that though so disregard it. And i've yet to see anything that properly describes/depicts the amazing-ness of the glossimer.

I can see how they called one colour Prune, (top left) of the pic. I'll take another look at in on Tuesday but it prob has a burgundy running through it. Thus getting it the name Prune.

Ugh there's no brown in this quad :S. When I heard Philips descirbing it I was like what is he even talking about? The bottom right is most definitely a beige.

As for the Steel as I tried to say before its got Jade shot through it. Bottom left.

Besides that the Khaki Vert really disappointed me. Way too green. Khaki Brun seems like my skintones perfect olive. As for Khaki Rose I'd like to see a comparison between it and Particuliere or rather Essie's Mink Muffs since I couldn't find a Particuliere at the time. So if anyone finds swatches please post.

I'm so glad that you loved them dear! I wore Exces today with a lil Salsa Rose blush & no other makeup but concealer I LOVE LOVE Exces so much! How weird to be able to wear a beautiful red without a bunch of other makeup but it just works.

Hi Winthrop - thanks! I've been 'around', but insanely busy with back-to-school stuff and work. Little time for 'me' it seems.....but my younger one heads back tomorrow for senior class orientation, and starts in earnest on Thursday. It will be quiet here soon enough.

I just finished cleaning up from dinner for 6 boys - my college junior brought his 3 roommates, and my h/s senior one of his best friends. I am utterly exhausted, and we grilled out!!! Boy, did they eat!! Of course leftovers had to be packed up along with the typical pantry scavenging....laundry, etc. Yikes! Where did the weekend GO!?!

Michelle, hang in there sending your little one off to pre-school - yes, you will live in your car and you won't believe how the time will fly!!

Elegant, I will have to try your Salsa Rose/Exces combo - sounds lovely!! I may do it tomorrow - I'm wearing a dressy white shirt and black pants to work, and there's nothing better with black and white than a pop of red!!

Salsa Rose is def. a saucy red pink blush, but lightly...its so lovely & face brightening.

I hear ya...I have been busy! So I pop in & pop off

I didn't end up going by MAC today after all. Looked at some more swatches on here of the new nail colours and decided against them. I am however going to pick up a couple colours from OPI's Swiss collection. Is anyone else as excited about this collection?! I'm not that into polish like some of you, but the swiss colours are beautiful! Definitely getting either the dark teal or shimmery dark green shade (sorry, cannot remember the names) and the metallic charcoal grey shade. Gorgeous fall shades!

Oh, I'm in the Chanel discussion thread! So still no Confidence gloss for me, not in yet. Called today as i figured I would've heard something by now, but nothing yet.

I swear they've done this collection before? But I love these sorts of colours, only why are there so many?! I like the Colour to Watch. But OPI sucks on my nails. They chip after a day. So I'll hold off.

Oh wait is this the Chanel thread. :S
I should think that the SOHO collection should be released in at least one store. Because my SA was bragging about how it would only be released in Holts.

I'm wearing the shimmery charcoal shade right now!! I only got three of the colors, the shimmery charcoal and gold, and the eggplant creme. I still need to swatch the eggplant one before I do my OPI Swiss blog post. I passed on the shimmery green one the CG one (Emerald Fitzgerald) will be close enough for me, at 1/3 the price. I'm debating the dark teal one because, while I don't normally do blues, that one is dark and muted enough for me.

On topic, I'm wondering how Steel will compare to the OPI and CG shimmery charcoals. Stay tuned for a comparison once I get my handsies on Steel!

When I called to pre-order Les Khakis, the SA said they should be arriving on the 9th for me. I'll probably pick them up over the weekend.
