It is back on Chanel's site.

I've seen it online for at least two days now. I've been checking on it since earlier in the week.

I think that I will order it to try it out.  It is so unique compared to everything else out there.  Plus I can always use it on my eyes.

@Haven....  I am very fair.  I use Blanc de Chanel as foundation; and used to use Johnson's Baby Powder as a setting powder until two (?) years ago when I bought as many Chanel Poudre Cristalline as I could find.  ;-)  Notorious is good for me because it is so unusual.  I always wear things I "shouldn't".  A quick brush over Notorious, a lot of blending, and some Tumulte Joues Contraste make a very compelling look.  I thick-lined my eyes with Violet Smoke Le Crayon Yeux, and then used Notorious for a smoky eye.  La Provocante lipstick made for a nice "amethyst face".  I loved it!

Embrace the makeup!  ;-)

I'm unsure where to put this so I'm putting it here. My counter is repromoting the entire Vitalumiere line of foundation which we have all seen before, but there is a new JC and a highlighter like the one from the le blanc collection released earlier. I just purchased the Perlee highlighter last week and this week, I saw this new highlighter! In the pan, Nacree looks darker than Perlee. I didn't swatch them side by side but I think Nacree is slightly more pink. The texture is the gel-like formula and very smooth, and gives a glow on my hand. Ultra Rose is the brightest pink JC I've seen from Chanel this far, but it is also in the baked formula as what my counter always get. It isn't a shimmery JC. I think I willl cave for the highlighter.

Both are fresh testers! I was the first to swatch.

Left Nacree, Right Ultra Rose

hi

Thanks MissQQ. Love that Chanel has gotten away from all the brown-based JCs!  Someone on MUA said today that Vitalumiere Aqua had been reformulated. Have you heard this at all?  BTW did you ever get the Noir or Indiscret (midnight blue) e/s that were originally mentioned along with Complice, Infini, etc. but that we didn't get in the US?

I'm sooo excited right now because I just got an e-mail saying it shipped already! clap.gif Since it's $43 I went with standard shipping, but it should still be here pretty fast. Anyone see this post: http://bestthingsinbeauty.blogspot.com/search?q=notorious

have you gotten it yet?

I am so confused on the next few Chanel collex...

^^ Shontay posted beautiful pics of herself using Notorious in the holiday collection thread:

jawdrop.gif WOW. Those are incredible. I want them both. It's definitely time for me to visit some of the Chanel counters I haven't been to in a while.

katred - The highlighter is incredible. The effect is like Nars multiple without the slip. I didn't try it on my face though, so I don't know if it is slippery over foundation and if it removes foundation if we apply too much of it or too heavily.

Thanks for the heads up about VA being reformulated. I didn't speak to the SAs when I was at the counter, and I haven't heard of it so I have no idea. I'll check it out next week. Did MUA say how the new formula differs from the old? I have forgotten about Noir and Indiscret. Is Noir a matte black and in the usual powder formula or the gel formula? There was a shimmery black eyeshadow, Black Star perhaps, and certainly no midnight blue eyeshadow at the displayer when the fall collection was launched. I'll check it out again, they may sneak into the counters after the launch.

Thanks for the swatches! They both look gorgeous.
I wonder if we get them here as well.

I want the Ultra Rose JC!!!

I want two!!!!

I got my highlighter too thanks to my friend in Hong Kong. ;) It is truly glorious! I skipped the blush though.

Got my Ultra Rose JC. It's so funny, I was looking for friends to buy it from me abroad when I found out it's been sitting at the local counter for a week now!

SA showed me the highlighter - pretty but it made my pores even more gigantic so I'm skipping!

Oh dear. I'll have to try it on before I buy. My pores aren't huge but the wrong highlighter can make them visible.

Do try first to be sure. Some of My pores are visible when you look up close, cheek part, but powder hides them. However, the highlighter on top of the blush "highlighted" them! I was looking at myself in the mirror and had a disappointed look on my face while the SA kept raving!

I have huge pores myself and my cheeks are like the surface of the moon ohboy.gif But I have no trouble at all with the highlighter, it doesn't magnify my pores at all, just gives a very pretty glow.

I use the Edward Bess face brush to apply it and the result is very pretty. eyelove.gif

Winthrop - I looked at the eyeshadow singles at the counter and we didn't get Noir and Indiscret too.

Bummer. I guess something just didn't work out with them. Thanks for looking MissQQ.

Since I have been faithfully using Chanel's MASQUE DÉSTRESSANT PURETÉ, I have noticed a significant diminution in the size/appearance of the pores on my nose and cheeks.
I thought I'd put it out there, in case it might help others with the same issues I have.

Stay beautiful!  <3

I love Hydra Beauty Serum ( 90 € here in France ), it's really very good and moisturizing. Sublimage l'Essence ( 360 € ) is very very expensive but very good and efficient too. I would recommand both products ( I only tried them and didn't purchase full size but I tried both for a week though )

Yes Ultra Rose is very pretty ! I have 10 JC blushes and I will buy Star Dust too. Never disappointed by Chanel blushes, they are subtle ( more than the Nars blushes for example ) , and long wearing too. Every time a new JC is being launched I have to buy it ! I don't own all JC blushes but I love all the blushes that I have.

The new Volume de Chanel mascara.  I wanted to hate it, mainly because after trying almost every other mascara on the market, I finally found Benefit's Bad Gal Lash, which has performed phenomenally for me for over a year.  Besides that, although I love all things Chanel, I do not believe they have ever got it right with mascara -- either the formula or the applicator or both have always disappointed me.  Why should this one be different?

It is, though.

I am shocked by the curling power (I've always thought that was a crock from any mascara), the lengthening (I have long lashes anyway, but today it looked like I was wearing falsies), the deep black colour, and the superb volume.  Well done, Chanel.

I even like the applicator (but I will still probably run through my lashes with a clean Bad Gal Lash brush).  ;-)

Stay beautiful!!  <3

Great! Thanks for sharing. They have it available on Neimans online already with free shipping (code is NMFALL)!

Have you tried the new liquid liners (Ligne Graphique de Chanel) yet by any chance?

It seems they won't hit here until Black Friday, but I did test the purple one this afternoon.  It's lovely!  Purple enough to be noticeably purple, but still dark enough to be taken seriously.

Did it look easy to use? I'm a bit liquid liner-impaired.

Personally, I much prefer the Ecriture de Chanel, so I find the Ligne Graphique de Chanel a bit awkward for applying on myself... but I'll get over it.  ;-)

The best advice I ever received for applying liquid liner was to make tiny dashes along the lash line, and then connect them.  I still use this method on myself, but I can make a nice fluid line on someone else.
