In fact, many food colors are compared to assorted makeup colors, in my crazy world. Today I was having a dessert with a blackcurrant sauce and I put the color on my lips, cause it was gorgeous!

Okay, time for bed...I'm ranting.
You are my hero. Nobody remembers the tan m&m's. These were my families favorite m&m. Yes....my entire family. I HATED the blue m&ms, because they replaced the tan ones. The tan ones tasted better than any other m&m. I hate when candy does this...why get rid of a color? Like....was it that costly to keep the tan AND the blue? Why not get rid of the dark brown....the tan is so much prettier. Please, dont get me started on the disappearance of lemon jolly ranchers.

Anywho. These lipglosses look sucky. They just seem, pointless and SHEER to me. Nooo thanks. The MSFs...I dont know if I need them, I already have FIVE. SIX! I have 6! I do want more shadesticks though, and wish they came out with a dark one, like devils food cake or something. Ahhh well.

Soooooooooooooooooooo.... All those shadesticks will be mine, along with both MSFs..... screw the lipglosses though. I think they look gimmicky.

Re: MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion

the more pics I see of this collection, the less I want to buy it. i was pretty excited at first, thinking it was going to be more similar to sweetie cakes.. but i'm not really feelin this collection afterall... i'll have to see it in person to really decide i guess, but so far, i think i might pass..

OMG... I was just trying to explain to my bf the other day that they used to have tan M&Ms and he didn't believe me! I was like.. you seriously don't remember them, wtf??

And then i remembered that like, back in 1993-94 they had a poll going where you picked the next color M&M.. it was between blue, purple, and fuschia/pink... anyone remember that?? i voted for pink and was so mad that blue won. i hate the blue ones for some reason. you're right, why did they have to phase out the tan ones? they weren't hurting anybody!

Furthermore, I can't believe there are no more lemon jolly ranchers. WTF is up with that? i had to go check our candy jar here at work just to be sure, but nope! no lemon ones. i liked those, how long have they been gone? does anyone remember the cinnamon ones in stick form they used to make?

why am i getting all nostalgic about candy? damn this thread, lol

Re: MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion

Ok I just arrived at this thread, and I see more MSFs. Should I invest in the BBR ones or this? It's gonna be my first MSF too!

I know I'm gonna get kicked for this (lol) but I didn't really like the BBR MSF's. But again that's probably because I have way too many highlighting products so those didn't seem special to me. I say wait till you see the new ones

Aww, a hug for you!

You used the BBR ones for highlighting? I thought they were pigmented enough to be used as blushes, except maybe the Redhead one.

Re: MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion

Dreamer-I agree with Shadowy. As much as I love my Blonde MSF, I have to say that these new ones look rather intriguing. To be perfectly honest, if I was buying my first MSF, I'd either go with Petticoat or So Ceylon if they are still available. Those are definite winners!

I'm gonna disagree (still love you Danelle ), I dont have any MSFs yet and So Ceylon and Petticoat left me completely empty. No love or connection. I even swatched Petticoat and thought "blah"

So I'm still waiting for the winner MSF to make an honest woman out of me.

I would never kick you for that! Please carry on and talk me out of the BBR MSFs! I am still unsure about them if I would like them or not and if the more intense shimmer would disturb me. If I only would use them as a highlighter/add some shimmer product over a blush wouldn't the Shimmer Brick in Beige be enough?

I love them so much! They will last for years but still I had to get backups of both!

Re: MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion

Uh-oh, dreamer. What to do now?????????

Moxy doesn't like Petticoat or So Ceylon, Campor and I do, Shadowy doesn't like the BBR. I kinda feel sorry for you right now. Can you get to a MAC store and swatch any. Or, look at the swatch threads here and see what you think.

Petticoat is quite pinkish on me, Blonde is very much a highlight for me, Light Flush is the best thing I've ever owned, but it isn't available (might try the clearance bin). People are swearing by redhead, but I didn't care for it. Maybe you should wait for this next round and see if they fit your needs. Keep in mind you could also by a mineralized blush instead. Those are amazing and have much more pigmentation.

Sorry this is becoming confusing...

Re: MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion

At first I was like....

Then I saw the tri-glosses and was like...

Then I saw the remaining shadesticks and MSFs....

Then I thought about how much this is going to cost me....

Time to hit the plasma center!

Re: MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion

My first thought when I saw those tri-glasses is that they were fakes. They do look kind of like a fake, don't they?

$10 Specktra bucks we see fakes on ebay within a month of the release. Cause yeah, I think they'll be easy as hell to fake.

Re: MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion

Even with the new photos, I don't like the square-packaged lipglosses with the tricolour thing going on. Maybe they will look amazing in person....but honestly, I'll pass I think.

The MSFs look very pretty. I'll enjoy watching you all enjoy them. *sits back*

Will likely pick up a shadestick or 2.

Specktra bucks....I like that. We can just start printing our own currency. I guess the problem would be getting MAC to accept it.

Especially in the new pictures of the square Lipglasses just scream No.
They look so little, messy and expensive. Just.. wrong.

So I will try to make my lists shorter and strike everything from the list what is not unique enough.

Like in this collection the Cakeshop Shadestick looks a bit like Greenstroke Paintpot which I have and so I don't need this Shadestick.
If Lemon Chiffon looks too much like Bare Study Paint Pot I will pass it too.

The Lipglasses will be mixed together on the lips anyway so I can look, when the first swatches are available, which Lipglasses from those I have looks like them and pass them too.

The MSFs look appealing though. MSFs make me weak.

Great, then we will go from the too much MAC category to the too much waistline category.

Here is my high-tech new graphic. Can anyone figure it out?
