Those are so pretty! And the name Butternutty is cute.. lol

I REALLY hope these newer shadesticks are a little smoother and not as dry. Pleeeease do some slight reformulating, MAC... c'mon.

Hear hear!! Even with the whole rubbing-it-to-warm-it-up, it still pulls and as I age I know Ill want that much less!

I guess we'll be waiting quite a while for new paintpots...bases don't seem to be something included with a lot of collections....they are my love (and no tugging!)

I think it would be cool if the glosses/lipsticks were scented like other sweets instead of the traditional vanilla, too!

I'm getting really excited for this collection! I finally have a reason to splurge on sweets that wont make me fat! lol I'm almost done with my painterly paintpot, ugh, so i want to use shadesticks again. SS are awesome!!

I wonder if the shadestick formula has been tweaked or something? It seems strange to discontinue so many just to have others come back in different shades and packaging.

I think they probably discontinued them to boost sales... Once people find out something is discontinued, it becomes a now or never situation, and some people will go out and buy the shadestick that they were pondering, just because if thye don`t get it now, they may not be able to get it in the future.. Plus, once so many were discontinued, it almost increases their popularity as they are harder to find and people tend to somewhat miss them.. When they reintroduce them, people will not only excited for the fact that its a new collection, but àlso that their beloved shadesticks are back.. so people will rush out and get them... I think they are kind of playing off of the fact that people want what they can`t have...

As for the new packaging.. yet another marketing gimmick.. special packaging makes the product that much more special!! really, how many times have we seen our favourite products (not only makeup) repackaged and then introduced as New & Improved!

So very smart marketing on their parts, IMO.. cause they`ve won me over :P I`m going to buy them all! well, the 3 i have seen so far...

but then again, I could be wrong.. maybe they have reformulated them.. and if they have.. that would be great!

OMG..thats awesome!! I was thinking yesterday that it would be AMAZING if MAC would do a yellowish/goldish shadestick (to follow the pastel colors) ...I am SOOO HAPPY about this!!!!! And now that I see the full packaging of the new shadesticks, I love it!! <3 <3 <3

I fricking had Red Velvet in my mind the other day (so weird as I've never tasted it before but hear its delish)

Its so on my list!! (says the shadestick non-lover). I feel the pull to the dark side....light lemon may follow me too!

now we need a frosting color...hmmm, chocolate, shimmery vanilla that you could also use on the inner 'v' & highlight with. But they better be waay smoother & creamier...like frosting. I think I may have a sweet tooth tonight

I will buy Red Velvet if for no other reason than I LOVE Red Velvet cake. Adore it. Dream about it. Could be part of the reason why I'm overweight.

So now I'll just wear it on my eyes, instead of my hips...
