I am on the fence about On a Mission BPB and the purple l/g. I can't stop thinking about that purple l/g, but I am just not sure how much I would wear it. Night Maneuvers is off my list because I already have Dark Edge, and hardly ever use it. Already have Tempting e/s too.
Currently my only dark browns are club and lucky tom. I would really like to skip night maneuvers and pick up the naked honey buckwheat instead, since it has a better finish, but I' m just deluding myself if I think I'm going to leave without it.

Re: MAC - Style Warriors Discussion

Ah, Style Warriors, I've been saving all my love (and money) for you.

Here is my list (subject to change, as ever):

Gold Rebel lipglass
Brave New Bronze lipstick (maybe, will need to try it on)
Eversun Beauty Powder Blush
Bright Force eyeshadow
Vibrant Grape eyeshadow (maybe)
Solar Riche bronzing powder (maybe)

Night Maneuvers and Soft Force eyeshadows both tempt me - but I have cornered the market on shades like this in my collection. They would have to blow my mind and then some. But perhaps they will. I'm also intrigued by Tribalist lipstick, but I'm not sure if I could rock this.

Will likely pick up one of the bags. Will need to see those in person. I wish the leopard came in the large size!

I really hate it when collections that come out close together have similar colors in both i.e. Night Maneuvers v. Buckwheat and Soft Force v. Creme de Miel. I am always so afraid that if I pass on one in favor of the other, and then prefer the first one when I have seen both, that it will be sold out and I won't be able to get it. I am so paranoid.

Re: MAC - Style Warriors Discussion

That is exactly what I'm paranoid about!

But for me the real excitement is about the lustre drops. I've really been dabbling in liquid luminizers lately, mixing them in my foundation, using them as highlighters. I find they look better on me than powder highlighters because it doesn't emphasize my pores. I see lots of luminizers in bronze, pink and pearl, but none in gold, so I want that one so bad!

Re: MAC - Style Warriors Discussion

I love making lists!

My list so far is:
Soft Force e/s
Bright Future e/s
Night Maneuvers e/s
Pink Rebel Lustre drops (depending upon the texture)
Gold Rebel l/g
Violet Fire nail polish

I am actually getting a lot less than I thought. I could be swayed though once I see all of this stuff in person.

Re: MAC - Style Warriors Discussion

Night Maneuvers e/s
Vibrant Grape e/s
Soft Force e/s
Bright Future e/s

At Least two of the Lustre drops

Im re-stimulating the economy

Re: MAC - Style Warriors Discussion

I don't even look at or consider the nail polishes because I can't wear them. But if I could.....I'd be all over them in a heartbeat.

Re: MAC - Style Warriors Discussion

I am so excited about this collection. My bank account is about to take a hit. I wonder if the lustre drops would give me a wet/greasy look instead of the dewy look that want.

Fellow Brooklynite here. I'm looking to buy most of the collection lol. I usually go to the Mac counter in Macy's.

Re: MAC - Style Warriors Discussion

My list, so far:

Soft Force e/s
Brave New Bronze l/s
Gold Rebel l/g
On a Mission BPB

Not excited for this collection, just think the packaging is great. So I can't not have it, ya know.

But I am glad you guys are excited, so I will go back to lurking in this thread, while you talk among yourselves

Re: MAC - Style Warriors Discussion

I might get Night Maneuvers since it might be close to Dark Edge or Lucky Tom e/s. I'm so getting both Soft Force and Vibrant Grape e/s! I also debating on Eversun bpb and On A Mission bpb. Which ones should I get?

I don't know, can you swatch them or do you order online? I'm avoiding on a mission because a lot of people have said that it makes people of my skin tone just look like they have dirt on their faces.

Do you generally look better in pinks and plums? Or brown/reds?

PS I want to know what luminizer you are using to make your skin look so glowy! It really makes your smile stand out.

Re: MAC - Style Warriors Discussion

For my skin tone, I look better with plums and browns since I'm a NW47/NC50. For what I have on my cheeks in my avatar is Brunette MSF. I'm loving it so much! I usually order online since sometimes I keep forgetting to go to the mall and I definately get Night Maneuvers and compare it with Lucky Tom and Dark Edge for you soon.

Re: MAC - Style Warriors Discussion

Joining in the excitement for Style warriors, I may be able to get more since I only bought Fix+ Rose from RR. After all, this is in special packaging and I feel happy to look at my Heatherette, Red She Said and HK because of the packaging. I hope I like the packaging more when I see it IRL.

Which is the most similar e/s in the perm collection to Soft Force?

This is one collection I am super excited about, the funny thing is I wish it wasn't the special packaging, i think I hate it! I will have to see in person.
I have rose blanc and nylon and they look quite the same to me so a few pages back or in the swatch thread you can see soft force next to rose blanc, they look alike enough for me to skip it, I have 2 look-alikes, don`t need 3

I think on a mission would work well for you then! Dang, there's no way brunette would work on me as a highlighter, lol.

What finish is buckwheat? If it's a veluxe pearl or frost, its better than night maneuvers! haha

Night Maneuvers is a satin? I might have to skip this then. Satins eye shadows and I have a love/hate relationship.

Re: MAC - Style Warriors Discussion

yeah its definitely a satin, the exact reason I will probably skip it for buckwheat. i might skip soft force for creme de miel too, since that one is VP

You don't think Brunette MSF would work as a highlight for you? I bet it'll work as a bronzer for you. Yeah, I believe that On A Misson would work for me. I'll definately would get that one.
