Since I am on a no buy for lippies and blush.... looks like I will pick up bright future, soft force and vibrant grape e/s. I have refined golden already and I love it. It gives me a beautiful natural glow. I may pick up a backup since I have been using it alot, but I may wait since it is perm(not really a package junkie). I like the rest of the collection but don't really need it.

Mercenary... the name brings to mind hot Scottish lairds from the 16th century. I read too many historical romances, don't ask

All in all I love the colors they paired together for this collection. My fotd this past weekend is actually following along the lines of this collection:

That being said, I think the only thing I would want are the bronze solar bits and the bright future shadow. I have similar colors in mufe for the rest of the collection, and I already have vibrant grape!

Bring on the warrior, NYC launch party where are yoooo? I really hope Soho does something.

hai all!
i always skim through these with nothing to contribute, but now i think i got something! lol

well the district manager for mac in my area is one of our regular customers (@ starbucks). she's super sweet and i didnt even know she worked for mac until a couple weeks ago.

anyways so i finally got to speak to her today since the last time i saw her and i was telling her that i havent seen much about Style Warriors. i said that usually there are a few leaks online (don't worry, didn't say where, lol) with pictures from the collection, so i have NO idea what anything really looks like.
she agreed and told me she saw the entire collection recently and said, "you just wait. you will be blown AWAY!" she said that EVERYTHING is fantastic and i'll love it.
i asked her about a launch because my friend told me that large collections usually have them, and she said there won't be a launch down here, but a reveal although she couldnt remember the exact date. she said the collection's coming out on the 28th (which i think we all knew, but i didn't remember at the time, so i asked).

idk how much of a contribution that is. i was just personally SUPER excited about SW, but it was waining since i hadn't seen any leaked pix of the real thing yet.
now my excitement is back and i cannot WAIT!

i wouldve asked about Colour Craft(?), but i was already holding up the line (there were like six people behind her, lol), so maybe another time if she doesnt mind me bugging her, lol.

Ive never asked any of the artists about launch parties cuz i never really had any intrest in them, but i didnt know we completely got screwed out of them lol

ADINA!!! I got us a preview invite at the flatiron store. I worked my magic!
I went by Soho and they are having Style Warriors Event in a few weeks but no preview or pre-sale. So I called the Flat Iron store and asked and he said no, but he was asking me where I lived blah blah and he invited me the week before to go see him and he will presale it to me!!!

yay!! He said it comes out officially in his store on the 21st, so he told me to come in on the 12th!!!

Ok so I am wearing Lavender Whip l/s today, and even though they are not at all similar, I am loving the purple tone. I think I may have to give Purple Rite some serious thought. Wonder how fast that one will sell out?

Just out of curiousity, what do you all think will be the most popular items from this collection? What will be the best sellers?

I am thinking definately Bright Future e/s, Purple Rite l/s, On a Mission BPB and the nail polishes. The polishes in the last few collections have been going like hotcakes, and I am sure these will do the same What say you?

Hey guys, I'm new to the style warriors forum and it would take me days to read all 89 pages so I'm sorry if this has been asked already, but what are the lustre drops? How would you apply them and what are the different ways you can use them? From the last few pages I read, there hasn't been much talk about these, so does that mean they can be passed?

I usually HATE mac nail polishes but I am very excited for Peaceable and Mercernary, they look fantastic. I have a feeling the Violet one will blow right out!

Basically they can be used mixed with your foundation to add dewyness and glow to your skin and anywhere on your body (chest, arms etc). You can use the lighter pinky ones as blush and highlighters. The bronzey one can be used as a bronzer/highlighter.

I thought I could skip this collection but it's looking like I'll need Soft Force, On a Mission, Pink Rebel Lustre Drops and Liberated l/g. I'm on the fence about Bright Future. I don't have a yellow e/s but can't really imagine myself wearing one either

THANKS!!! I'm excited to try them. I'm loving all 3 colors, but being that I've never used something like this, I think I'm gonna have to see these in person or at least see some swatches first. Could this collection PLEASE come any quicker??????

Me too!!!!! I'm a sucker when it comes to cute packaging! They're total attention grabbers, too! I STILL have people walk up to me in the ladies' rooms when they see me taking out my Heatherette l/s and ask where I got it lol.

I know everyone is excited for Bright Future, i think that is going to be a popular item. I know I want it. I also want a bunch of other stuff as well. Oh i'm excited, my boyfriend is away and he said I can buy what I want to make up for him being gone. Can't wait to go shopping
I also gave him a list of a bunch of stuff to get me in New York, so i'm going to have 2 big hauls soon.

I wasn't really planning on getting anything from this collection because I have begun my very low buy. But today my mom gave me a Mother's Day card from her and my dad and there was $50 in it. So i may consider Purple Rite l/s (was considering it anyway) and Pink Rebel lustre drops. I'll need to see these in person before i commit though, because being on a low buy means being extremely selective!

So, I am totally drooling over those polishes!! I may have to eat my words on this collection, now. I want the three polishes, all the shadows except Tempting (since I have that one already), Purple Rite and maybe Sunsational.

Erin, how does Sunsational look on the lips? Is it a pretty shiny nude color?
