The SC base comes in a pot with a screw type lid (net wt. 5 grams). The consistency is quite creamy and greasy. I don't think imho that this is a good product for people with oily skin. I have normal to dry skin so it kinda compensates although I really am not a fan of that greasy feeling. A little does indeed go a long way to prevent creasing!
The first thing I noticed when opening it was the smell! OMG!! It smells like a cheap chemical clay . When I first put it on my eyelid it had a very white colour but it faded to almost my skin tone. I really had to pack on the e/s 'cause it picked up all the e/s on my brush instantly making it a bit difficult to blend actually. It really makes a colour stand out when it's a matte e/s, using shimmer/frost I think the colours look duller then when I use another eye primer. It does however last forever! Didn't have to touch anything up during the entire day.
Considering the texture of the product I believe it should be priced a cheaper than $14.
Got caught up in the hype, it'll come in handy for certain looks no doubt but it's not a must-have product.

I was about to write down a review on this product, when I saw this link..Its important to write this honest review, coz there is a lot of hype surrounding this product and many youtubers are promoting this product to their subscribers..currently You can get this from ebay or their myspace webpage..regarding the product, the smell didnt bother me much,It was definitely NOT offensive, its creamy and greasy, almost like cream concealer consistency.Just like how a concealer settles on fine lines and wrinkles, even this base DOES the very same thing,so you have to blend it out really well..bright colors tends to pop a lot when applied on top of this base, like fuschias, purples and blues but It doesn't do anything amazing for neutral colors. It DOES crease,If you apply it like UDPP or shadow Insurance,So the thinnest layer shld be applied for avoiding this..I haven't had any blending difficulty, the eye shadows does last a long time If you apply a thin layer from the beginning..It is just an average eyeshadow base, better ones are out there and It is not an absolute must have, unless you are into collecting makeup..

Re: Scandalous Cosmetics shadow base

I have been hearing about this for awhile and like everyone I wanted to get it. For some reason something kept me from getting it. I now understand what kept me from getting it. I have had the thing in my collection for 2 years. I live in New York and there is an old makeup company in the Village name "Mattese N.Y.C., they have been around for sometime and so 2 years ago I purchased their shadow base. I loved the base because it made my colours pop but the greasy feel wasn't working for me. I was recently looking at the ingredients on the scandalous shadow base and I realized that I had seen that base somewhere before. Duh...in my collection.

Can anyone answer this question for me?

What is the common ingredient in all of the LadyBurd exclusive cosmetics like BitchSlap and all of the others?

Ingredients vary by the type of product, so you'll have to be more specific.
