Good to know. There does look to be a dupe in the Opi spring collection. Although I find Opi can be inconsistent from one colour to another, their polishes are less than half the price, so I won't feel as annoyed if I don't care for it.

Has anyone seen the New Look collection, which consists of 4 quints and the New Look mascara? I'm thinking of getting Grege, it looks like a good neutral palette. The quints don't look very frosty like the spring quints. My counters have received them but I haven't gone down to play with the testers yet.

I got both the Grege and pink quints - they are really pretty despite what The Best Things in Beauty reports.  Grege is what originally drew me in.

Is Grege pigmented? Are they frosty or satiny? I think the pink quint look very feminine!

Do we know if the New Look quints are perm?  They've arrived at Shoppers Drug Mart, I plan on getting one or two with my Optimum pts this weekend (super extra bonus redemption, for those who collect)

I saw the New Look quads, the mascara and the heat curler. The mascara looks like the smallest from Dior ever, I want to try it very much but it's hard to get samples. The heat curler looks interesting too, I wonder if the battery is refillable? The pink quint looks like it is the most shimmery out of the 4 quints. I like it and Grege most, but I don't know if Grege is special enough for me to purchase it. I got a lovely leaflet which shows how we should use each of the four quints on either almond-shaped or round eyes. The instructions teach us to use all 5 shades in the quint, which is something rare since Dior quints aren't meant to be worn with all the 5 colours at once.

 

Cheryl - How does this pink quint compare to Chanel Songes and Envolee, both the Asian Le Blanc quads which I think you own?

I tried the New Look Mascara.  The brush is smaller, but it is a good thing, as it allows you to get all the small, hard to get lashes.  VERY good mascara.

I would say it is a thickening mascara, more that a lengthening one.

 

Grege is so nice on...it is rather matte, and the SA put all 5 shades on me at once...it looked smoky and so nice.  I LOVE this quint.

My SA said she has not heard that they are being Discontinued...she says they are TOP sellers in the Dior makeup line.

Yes they are perm.!!!!  SOO nice.

Yes, I saw some photos of the Dior summer collection....there is a nice new LE Bronzing powder, a textured quint featuring aqua, peach and gold shadows, an aqua nail polish, sparkling lip gloss...that is all I can remember...looked really pretty.

Thanks! My eyes are small so a mascara with small brush is good for me. I hope I can get a sample of it. Is Grege warm or neutral on you? What is your colouring? Thanks for the info on the summer collection too. I hope we are getting the LE bronzer this time, last year my counters didn't get Aurore.

This quint sounds amazing!  I was underwhelmed by the New Look quints - they're all colours I already have in my quints collections, just in different combinations (except that khaki colour, which I don't care for anyway).  We need more unique colours, a la Garden Pastels.

I am a medium toned brunette, with green eyes.  I am a beige 30 in most foundations.

I found Grege to be rather cool toned, and very buildable.  The SA did one eye lighter for day, but built it up smoky one the other eye for a more dramatic look.  It is a cooler toned palette, which \i really like.
