WOW that is awesome but I like the $50 as since then I have been trying to limit my purchasing to $50-60 per month but yeah I knew the MSF for colour craft would blow that out of the water cause MSF are my favorite thing from MAC.

Re: MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

I am really tempted to purchase Daft Pink, because I have nothing similar at all. All my blushes are copper/coral/dark pink. However, I am just not sure if a light pink would suit my skin tone, which is NC40 (for ref: http://i32.tinypic.com/wwaucg.jpg )
To those of you who have already bought Daft Pink, do you think it would do me any justice being tanned and all, i.e. is it worth it? I have been advised previously that pink blushes apparently should be avoided for Indian skin tones, so it would be a risk. Unfortunately, I don't have time to visit a MAC store Hmm.. decisions!
Thank you in advance!

I got a Redhead MSF and a 165 brush at the Branson Tanger CCO so they are out there! They had Blonde and Brunette MSF(for those looking) so those brushes must be at other locations.
Here's looking at you Tish!

Re: MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

What brush do you use with the MF blushes? I tried it with the 131 and it didn't show up on my skin (NC25-30). I was trying to convince myself I need Daft Pink or Porcelain Pink but it only shown up an a sheen. I have Blonde & Brunette, do I need Daft Pink or Porcelain Pink? I'm heading over to MAC in a few hours to pink up Rose Romance & Brave New Bronze lipstick. I know I'm behind on picking those up!

I ended up with Colour Craft l/s, Way to Love l/s, 131, and the 226 yesterday.

Re: MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

I went to Nordy's today to pick up a few items for a CP and even though I tried my hardest to put my blinders on to this collection I had to check it out.

I really didn't like the mineralize blushes as when swatched they just looked like gold/silver shimmer on me with a slight hint of color. And I am NW15!! PASS!

The lipsticks were all pretty but dupable as they are very similar to a lot of recent LE lipsticks. Another PASS! They were sold out of Trimming Talk which was the only one that I was really interested in so thankfully I could pass that as well.

I didn't even swatch the mineralize eye shadows although they look really pretty.

I do agree that the lipglasses are very pretty and much better than the Sugarsweet ones. Electric Edge is the by far the standout of this collection for me. A very pretty and unique light lavender shade. I can't wait to use this with via veneto.

I liked the MSF but the striped ones were pretty shimmery. If you all are debating Sunny By Nature then try Revlon Suntan Matte Mineral Finishing powder. They look like almost exact dupes and the revlon one is much cheaper. Here is a picture:

I ended up putting a few items on hold until Friday when the Nordstrom sale starts so I could get my triple points with my Nordy's card. I ended up holding cheeky bronze, electric edge, smooth merge, triple fusion, & the 226 brush.

I am still debating if I want to keep my order but I just know that I would kick myself if I missed the MSFs.

Re: MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

I got to check out the collection and it's quite gorgeous.

The only thing I didn't understand is why they used random products for the promo picture and none from the actual collection. Just doesn't make sense if they wanted to promote the products in the collection.

!!! Why can't Macys or Nordstorms let you use coupons--or create ones for that matter, that you can use towards cosmetics (especially for credit card holders) Gosh, that would help a lot

Nordstrom does give Nordstrom notes for their credit card or MOD holders based on points for how much you have purchased. I do wish that they would do more discounts for beauty stuff.

Re: MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

Hi everyone! Hope everyone's loving their Colour Craft goodies

I bought the 226 and absolutely loving it! Also bought Improvise and Cheeky & Cheerful. Really love how Improvise looks corally and pretty But I'm not too sure about C&C, it seems too orange on me even though I tried applying it quite lightly with the 188 and 187. I'm NC 25 by the way.

I'm wondering would Warm Blend be too dark for me as a blush or a contour? It's so pretty that I may just get it to use as an eyeshadow

Thanks!

Re: MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

^^ I agree. If macys let us use coupons on mac that would just make my day!!!!

Re: MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

yeah Macy's is LAME, but the cosmetic vendors chose not to be included in coupons so it's kind of not Macy's fault...but if you have a Macy's visa and spend I think at least $50 they will send you reward certificates and you can use those towards cosmetics. But it's ridic how they issue coupons and the exclusions take up almost the whole damn thing! But done ranting now lol (disgruntled employee here) I am lovin my CC stuff, I used Cheeky Bronze and Daft Pink together yesterday and it came out awesome! But I just need to be uber careful with Cheeky Bronze or it comes out way pigmented on my pasty ass skin. I haven't had any issues with things turning orange on me or anything so sorry to all that have had that problem. I'm an oil slick but yet these stay put pretty well on me, I guess my oil softens the shimmer in these too so I glow after about an hour or 2 lol. And here I was thinking I was going to skip this, man would that have been bad!

Re: MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

Neonkitty-you must have quite a few of those horseshoes up there! Anytime a MSF or MES is dropped at work, it shatters like that! The MB,however, don't shatter as easily.

A few of you asked if warm blend would work as a blush or contour colour. Blush, yes. Contour-not so much. Contours colours should be matte, and since these are more shimmery (as they are highlight powders), you'll get more of a highlight effect rather than a contour effect.

Re: MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

I also wanted to add how much I nice mix up! I got it in gratis and its gorgeous! I just despise the fact that the stupid-ass wiper in the tube removes almost all the product. I have to dip the wand atleast five times to get the proper amount on my lips!

I remove the wiper to see if that works and when I put the wand back in all the gloss oozed out the top (there's a lot of product in there), so I don't recommend doing that!

Yeah I guess I do! I'm a total klutz, and dropped these on laminate, somehow I still have an intact redhead, milady, love rock and perfect topping. I need to buy some lottery tix!

Re: MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

I'm surprised at how much I liked Improvise and Cheeky Bronze. I bought a lippie, but can't remember which one. The 138 brush is my new best friend (no, not 131).

Happy Birthday! Gift cards are the best!

They gave these out last December and they included coupons that went till April, and then did it again in May, with this book going till September. I also often redeem my HBC rewards points for gift cards, every 80,000 points = $10. Sounds like a lot of points, but you get double points if you use the HBC credit card with the rewards card.

I don't think Daft Pink would show up on you as more than a highlight. I'm around NC20 - 25 and it showed up really light on my skin. If you can get your hands on Love Rock though, that'd be gorgeous! I don't know why anyone would say pink blush should be avoided on Indian skin tones. I think it is beautiful. My girl friend bought Fashion Frenzy blush with the Fafi collection, and it's stunning on her!

Hey Coachkitten, how are you liking this? I ask because I have one of these and almost hurled it out the window. Its hard as heck to get on the brush. I had to scrape it to get any of the product. Needless to say its currently in a box somewhere. The colors are pretty, but I refuse to fight with them.

Re: MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

I actually like the suntan matte a million times better than the other two. This one I use suntan matte with a 150 brush and it picks up quite a bit of color. I highly recommend this mineral finishing powder but the others are no good IMO.

Re: MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

My sister stole the two I had and I am glad because I knew I would never wear them....I like Sunny By Nature so if it's close I am glad she took it

Re: MAC - Colour Craft Discussion

I am trying my hardest lately to find chaper alternatives to a lot of these MAC LE products. I just can't keep affording to buy tons of things from all of the MAC LE collections. I am trying to focus on getting the things that are most unique.
