I think it's creasy because they want it to be like ''i'm a rockstar, i don't care about it'' kind of look.

However, special packaging is a little less specific. Before 2007 (starting with Raquel Weltch and the Barbie collection), no special packaging was available through Back2MAC. After that most things were. Dame Edna however was one of the first collections I heard of that wasn't discountable at all and no products were available for B2M (besides holiday and special sets of course). After that, we were told Hello Kitty Lipsticks were not available for B2M either. Since then though, Style Warrior products have been availalbe through B2M, and I also recieved my employee discount on those items as well. It seems to depend on the collection itself. Since McQueen and Emanuel Ungaro were discountable and B2M'able I imagine this collection will be as well. I hope that's informative! I'm feeling under the weather so my sentance structures might be a little off so forgive me!

so this collection will be discounted???

Re: MAC - Dsquared2 Discussion

HIIII. I've seen this collection in Taiwan today. It's already been released.

The greasepaint sticks are heavenly and pure love. They are like shadesticks but better. They go on pigmented, smoothly, and creamy. They're like a creamier shadestick, because we know how dry those can be. Greasepaints are not blotchy or dry at ALL. No extra warming up needed.

And intense black, I didn't see any redness in it to be honest like Bunny is saying.
The purple is pretty, but more red-based than blue.
The blue is GORGEOUS. It's a blue like Deep Truth, but really worth it in this form, but if I had to skip one, it'd probably be this one, since the color is dupeable in eyeshadow form. But I didn't swatch side by side, so I don't know how true this is.

Hope this helps!

I dunno about budge-proof-ness since I only had time to swatch and not try them on my eyes.

And I realized I didn't take pictures of the swatches, I should have. If I go again on Thursday, I'll try and get pictures for all of you.

I totally am. I see EVERY brand in the US here plus all the Asian country make up brands. Asia is definitely the land of makeup. US just doesn't carry all the awesome Asian brands.

Re: MAC - Dsquared2 Discussion

Blood Red isn't "blood red" I would have liked it to be.
Love the Black Opal greasepaint stick though!

Re: MAC - Dsquared2 Discussion

People that have seen them both, any ideas how similar Nude Rose is compared to UD's Naked?

that was my first thought too. looks more like blooming lips. like lips that are well supplied with blood. (my dictionary tells me "to supply with blood" i hope thats really what i was trying to say *lol*)

nude rose looks warmer than i expected/hoped

Uh oh... Nude Rose looks and sounds like a color made for Tish.

Re: MAC - Dsquared2 Discussion

So far I'm only interested in the purple greasepaint stick ... It will look good under Push The Edge pig or Fuchsia glitter which i'm planing on getting

Re: MAC - Dsquared2 Discussion

This collection looks gorgeous. I am sold on the grease paint sticks now. I figure it's better to have and not need them than to not have and want them. I want both lippies. Blood red isn't blood red, but I am a red lipstick whore and I want this one. I'm trying to figure out how I will wear the pink lippie on my pigmented lips. Is it an amplified creme? I need to look that up. Urban Decay's Naked lipstick is so gorgeous, but it didn't show on me. It just looked like I smeared vaseline on my lips.

Re: MAC - Dsquared2 Discussion

Thanks for the swatches Erine!

I like the look of both lippies and the purple greasepaint stick! I'll be getting the black one with Style Black so I can play around with it and see if I like the formula. Also stocking up on a few Feline's and probably the 165 brush...still not sure why I passed on it before.

Re: MAC - Dsquared2 Discussion

Everything from this, just like Style Black. Hooray for fall!

Re: MAC - Dsquared2 Discussion

hhhmmm i think i am going to skip this collection. i'm getting the grease paint stick from style black and i'm not interested in the other 2 colours from thsi collection. i already have the 165 brush and the sculpt and shape compact. and the lipsticks are pretty but have have things that look very similar to them.

Re: MAC - Dsquared2 Discussion

Hey guys, I got the two lippies today, and here they are next to Russian Red lipstick:

Nude Rose, Blood Red, Russian Red

As you can see, blood red is really pinky. Not much red as I could tell. Comparing it to the bold red that is Russian Red.

Re: MAC - Dsquared2 Discussion

yeah blood red is not very red at all! still a pretty colour but looks quite dupe-able!

Re: MAC - Dsquared2 Discussion

Thanks for the pics! How do you like Nude Rose? Is it similar to anything else?

Re: MAC - Dsquared2 Discussion

I'm not sure if I have a color like blood red, so I will get it anyway. I really want nude rose, but the more I look at it, the more I doubt I can pull it off. Maybe if I put a gloss on top? Very pretty, though.
