It's a 187 dupe, very stiff. Bought it for $6.99!

Re: 187 Dupe at Target!!

I can't ever find these at my target either. I have the Sephora Professional one though. But I would love to have an extra one for now without going all the way back to Sephora again.

Ooh nice! How do you like it?

Re: 187 Dupe at Target!!

I've seen that Studio Tools brush but was afraid to try it, especially since I already have the Sonia Kashuk one, the NYX one, the Flirt! one from Kohl's, and the 187 (which is the only one I haven't used yet). How is it?

Re: 187 Dupe at Target!!

We have tons of these in stock at my Target. I plan on picking it up.
I like that line of brushes, well at least the one I own. lol

Re: 187 Dupe at Target!!

i got one last week! it's so soft yet firm. i love it. it hasn't shed one bit (yet). i've only used it on powder products so far. we'll see how it holds up with liquids!

Re: 187 Dupe at Target!!

I have it! I use it for stippling on liquid foundation & it works like a charm. When it first came out, my Target mispriced it for 1.99USD, so I got it even cheaper. I don't own a 187 to compare it to, but it is well worth a look for the price if nothing else!

Re: 187 Dupe at Target!!

I bought two of these. I use one for blush and the other with my Studio Tech. I haven't noticed shedding or bleeding when I wash it. I haven't owned a 187 so I cant say it's better or worse but for $6.99, I can't complain

Re: 187 Dupe at Target!!

I might buy that next time I go. I own the sonia kashuk 187 dupe, I absolutely adore it!

Re: 187 Dupe at Target!!

yeah, it's really nice! obviously it's not mac, but its really good quality for seven bucks. its really soft, yet still firm for stipling and contouring. i'm glad i found it!

Re: 187 Dupe at Target!!

Yep I got it and it's a little bit smaller than the 187 which might be better for blush or contouring.

Re: 187 Dupe at Target!!

They also had one that looked just like the 182 when I was in Target...I started to get it...But I have 2 of the 182's and didn't want to spend the money...but it looked so close

Re: 187 Dupe at Target!!

i freakin love this brush...its perfect for liquid foundations...powders cream blushes everything and for 6.99 its perfect...i just don't see myself spending 42 bucks on the same brush lol...i recommend this brush!

Re: 187 Dupe at Target!!

Ok I tried the brush today....There is a difference in the feel (of course) But for $7.00 the difference is not significant enough to matter and it gives a good end result...It is really a good brush....For those who use the Revlon Colorstay foundation and hate that it stains your $40+ MAC 187....I would get this because at $7 who cares if it stains....

I would recommend it....I am gonna pick up the 182 dupe when I am there again and give it a try as well.

Re: 187 Dupe at Target!!

I love this brush! I've never had a duo fiber brush before, and it's really great. I use it for blush and my MSF.

Studio Tools make really great, super affordable brushes. I have the smudge brush (great for smoking out eyeliner), the angled shadow/liner brush, and the crease/contour brush, which is one of my favorites. I find their eye brushes to be much better than their face brushes, with the exception of the duo fiber. Their kabuki brush was too stiff (I prefer Eco Tools' travel kabuki) and the bristles on the face brush weren't soft enough.

$1.49 mac 187 dupe at Target

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this so please move if need be.

I was at Target earlier and I happen to find a mac 187 dupe for $1.49. It wasn't the Sonia Kushak line of brushes, I believe it was beauty essentials. It was in the isle with nail polish and nail files etc. It was I believe $6 marked down to $1.49. I picked up a couple and I haven't had a chance to use them. I have both the 187 and the 188 so I purchased this with the thought of using it on others.

By the look and slight feel of the brushes you can tell it's not as dense as the 187 but for less than $2 it would be worth it to try for blushes or mineral makeup.

I remember looking forever for the 187 dupe and could never find one, so if you happen to be at a Target it's defenitly worth checking out.

Re: $1.49 mac 187 dupe at Target

I picked up one of these a few months ago - LOVE it. It's definitely not as dense as the 187 but for 6 bucks (hell 1.49 now I guess), it's totally worth it. I strongly recommend everyone pick one up!

Re: $1.49 mac 187 dupe at Target

They're marked down at my Target, too. Didn't pick one up, but if anyone is close to Federal Way, WA you should go while they still have some!
