I brought home the Models Misbehaving mini lipglasses. I had a gift card I'd been hoarding since my birthday in August, so I decided to treat myself when I went in to buy some Studio Fix powder. I decided on the Sexy Shenanigans because I wanted good payoff for my very pigmented lips and I am not disappointed at all! I am especially in love with Angel Wing. And Instant Gold. And Magnetique. And ... oh brother. Really glad I got the set, anyway, and am really looking forward to playing with them all!

Just a little update ... I'm wearing Gitane today from the Models Misbehaving mini lipglass set ... and it is so beautifully pigmented and has great payoff on my insanely pigmented lips!! A little really goes a long way. I can't wait to play with the other colours!

How's everyone enjoying the holiday collection? I have yet to buy anything, a first for me!

I still want the sexy shenanigans lipglass set but I am determined to get through my 1,000 glosses I already have.

The MUA let me buy a pigment set yesterday although she strictly wasn't supposed to. I got the Sexpot one as planned and I really like it. I'll go back and get the warm one later in the week. The stupid thing is my mineral foundation is running low and I can't afford to buy both new foundation and a mini lipglass kit... so maybe I'll forgo the lipglasses. I have so many anyway and I'm not really a lipglass person.

I still haven't purchased any of the sets this year. I have been really trying to limit my makeup purchases but I am lusting over the lipglass set with elle.

i know people are going crazy for elle... but although i find it pretty - i don't find it that special. i like the peachy shimmer but it doesn't wow me i'm afraid. i prefer snowscene because it has lots of coloured shimmer in it

It depends on what you have on your wishlist, whether that would help or not Some colours sell faster than others, so if you favourites are the brighter ones, there should be some (especially at the counters which start to sell anyways maybe on Monday only). So you still have time to think or save up. If you like to have the Neutrals, better decide fast

I had posted the information because online there is often just a small amount of stock, it could be seen (when you put things in your "basket" you can check from there the amount of sets left) that there are just about 30 of each l/g-set and 40 or so of the pigment sets, so one needs to be really quick. I got the "Sexy Shenanigans"-set and today it is already sold out online. Seems that it was much in demand.
Also the "Smokey"-Pigments seem to shift fast. Currently there is just one left; but for example the other l/g-sets, there are still more than 20. So I could suppose that many people might have chosen the more neutral colors, maybe also in case these are meant as gifts.

Actually I was really thinking a lot about the "Models"-set because of the two pink shades which look so beautiful, but I could not wear the two orange colours at all, so I sadly did not choose it and rather wait for a new set with more pinks again. Also I still have "Jampacked", maybe that helps me getting over "Angelwing".
Also the bright set was in a combination of some colours I would like and some that would not suit me at all.

Thanks again also everyone for the swatches in the other forum, they helped me a lot in deciding because I really rather buy online (Counter is far).

I still haven't purchased the holiday sets since I've been trying so hard not to spend too much money. Both the lip bag and eye bag that I'm lemming for is still going to be the two that I'm going to get. I may also get the Sorceress Eyeshadow Palette.

^I wore the Sorceress set again today if that helps the enabling The middle color on the bottom is very pigmented so you don't have to use a lot but its a great set to have if you love purple!

Actually I was at the KaDeWe Berlin yesterday but they didn't have the tester for the set (yet, I hope). I like Sexy Sheanigans and Models Misbehaving .

By default I think I'm getting Models Misbehaving. I have to try Sexy Sheanigans first though because my lips are pigmented and the very light colors usually show up too pale on me :P.

And for me the pink / purple ones in Models Misbehaving are the ones that made me rethink the set .

BTW, I got the Smoke and Mirrors eyeshadow palette earlier this week (that's why I was already broke). And I looove it!!!!
(side note: I never tried/have smokey eye before this palette)

Then I hope they will have testers on monday then I think I will use most of the Shenanigans-Set as addition to lipstick, on their own, some of them might be too light for me, too, but they just looked so cute I also really liked to have a couple of different colours at once.


haha, maybe we could wish from Mac for a bronzey/coral/orangey-set and one with light and dark pinks so everyone would get the perfect set (just as they have with lipsticks usually).

Smoke and Mirrors is really pretty, and I like this year's packaging better than the years before (where I did not buy any palette also for that reason).

Oh!! Yes, Hypnotizing is really pretty!!!

I think its being repromoted with Love Lace by its own. I'm seriously considering to get it, since i'm afraid I will useit more than the other shades in the palette and I always try to save palettes for travel.

i'm thinking the same thing! i'll most likely buy it in pot form... and then depot into my 15 palette i like taking my little palettes on holidays too! i have a few quads that i take away with me as well as the smokey eyes kit form last years holiday collection
