My friend purchased the smoke & mirror palette for me and I love it! It is a great neutral palette that I can see myself using for work.

karla sugar has posted some great swatches!

i thought i was going to skip the sets, but i find myself wanting the sexy shenanigans (spelling) lip set, and the sexpot pigments! and i dont own any pigments, and never used them when i did!

what a great collection.

pigments are awesome! i can't believe you don't own any! they are slightly messy to use but i love the fact i can mix them to make new colours, use them not only on my eyes and such. the sex pot set is lovely - i'd buy it but i already have all the colours!

Yes, her swatches are awesome again!

I got Sexy Shenanigans and Frisky Business yesterday - I love both sets! These mini lipglasses will be with me in my bag every day now

im just not that much of a pigment person, but i loooove the MES from this collection. it would be better for me to get another one of those, but i do have my eyes on the sexy lipglass set

The MES are really gorgeous, I am also thinking about getting another one. Apart from the glittery blob they are perfection.
the l/g sets looks really nice, but I am not buying any more l/g at the moment.

Winnie, it's so funny you say that!

I was never a lipgloss person...until I tried a mini l/g set from a MAC holiday collection I don't know how many years ago. I thought, oh what the hell...I never like/use lipgloss, the mini's are too cute and I can try them out and if I hate it, no biggie. Well, I'm now a l/g junkie!! It all started with one little mini set and now I have an obsession.

I think you should check out the sets in person and see what you think. Maybe one set will call your name and you'll end up growing a lipgloss army too!

I'm in love with the sets I got this year. Poetic License is my fave from the sexy set, and Beaute is my fave from the frisky set! They're all getting used though, and I really like all of the colors. Great sets this year!!

You don't own any pigments? It's better you start getting the pigment sets if you are wanting any of the pigments. For me, I'm not getting the pigment sets because there are some perm line pigments that I can get later and I own some of the pigments in the sets in a full jar.

i really want to pick up the sexpot pigments and possibly haute high too. i only own one pigment because for some reason i find it hard to commit to those jars.

Reading all your posts makes me impatience to get my l/g set!!! I'll still have to wait 2-3 weeks for them to arrive Mexico.

I wore Smokey Eyes palette today for the first time. OMG. What a great selection of neutrals!!! I had to leave home with almost any make up on and I grabbed it in hopes to have some time to do my eyes... It took me less than 5 minutes to have something done!!! Great palette, I'm so happy I didn't skip it!

Really? I have quite a handful of full-sized MAC lipglosses at home (at least 25 of them), all of them are untouched and some are even brand new. I tried to get into the habit of using glosses, but I really don't like anything sticky on my lips, especially when the wind blows and my hair gets stuck on them (EWWWWW)... So I will just stick with my trusted lipsticks.

I am kind of proud of myself today. Went outside my normal "safe" zone on my purchases. Thought I would end up with the cool piggie set and Models Misbehaving l/g set. I passed on the l/g because most of the shades were too warm. Looked at Sexy Shenanigans and Frisky Business based on good reviews and swatches like Karla Sugars. A word of caution on the l/g sets, please swatch them yourself IRL if you can at all. The swatches here must have been very thick because the color payoff on these is very low.

I ended up getting the Sexpot piggies based on recommendations here. It is a lovely set and I don't already own similar colors. I can't wait to play with them.

ah i wish i had b babe! i wanted it but when i left the store and was on the train home i saw that i had been given all's fair insted - which is very nice - but not what i wanted!

Finally I went into my local MAC today and they had the lipgloss sets out (no testers though, boo). But they did have 10% off so that was great! I got the Sexy Shenanigans set, though I might go back for Frisky Business (it's sold out on the MAC UK site already!)

I love Ensign the most, I wish I'd gotten a full size when it first came out. Elle is pretty but doesn't show up on me that much (that's OK though). Poetic License has a beautifully smooth, opaque consistency, but it's a lot lighter on my lips than I thought it would be. Not so much an everyday colour for me - might be better to pair it with a dark smokey eye. I do LOVE the fact that I can buy a set this year with no dark colours though, since these are the ones I never end up using!
