I would recommend Cool Capers too but I would also recommend you to wait until they appear in CCO's, so that you can buy 2 sets instead of 1. I bought last year's pigment sets in my CCO for half the price

I was going to skip this but the warm mini pigs contain nothing but colours I do not have in my collection so I got it as a sample set to see if I need to track down any full sized ones. ;-)

I am a very very bad bat!

I agree with Lou. If you are not feeling them, just skip them. Remember Spring Colour Forecast

Don't be tempted to buy something just because it's there and you can afford to buy it. I think MAC plays up this temptation pretty well, but we gotta learn how to resist, especially if you plan on collecting MAC in the long-term. You'll go broke in no time if you keep giving in to temptation.

Thanks girls!! You give excellent advise, but before reading your posts I ended buying the mini glosses, but only because I didn't have minis and I do travel a lot. I'm such a gloss lover and such a bad packer that I always carry around 20 (well, to be honest, i'm a make up addict who carries half her collection) and my hubby is getting tired of paying the extra weight to the airlines...so with the money of the extra weight of my glosses for one holiday I paid for the mini glosses.

I made a compromise to myself to not use my palettes and my mini glosses when not in travel so I will get excited to get to use them and not to pack anything else. I hope I stay strong!!

Is the sorceress pallete worth getting? I really want hold my gaze, but I am worried if the quality is worth the price.

i really like the palette. all the shadows have good payoff, can be used in many ways and are a good size.

Re: MAC - Holiday 09: Magic, Mirth and Mischief (Holiday Sets Part I) Discussion

I bought the Smoke and Mirrors palette yesterday, and love it! However, I'll eventually use up the palette and would much prefer to buy shadows from the permanent line that are similar in color. I'm a MAC newbie, so I'm not very familiar with their line, and I don't live close enough to a MAC counter to go check them out.

Can anyone help me out by letting me know what some dupes for the colors in the palette might be?

Thanks hun!!!

Actually the only compliments I've got were form my hubby. We're in a physics conference meeting and they doesn't really care, maybe they even noticed I was wearing make up even though I had complete works. Lucky I've married the only physicist besides me that cares for other things than science.!!

I'm still a bit iffy about getting the Naughty Noir Eye bag. I was wondering what people think about Shimmertime pigment. It looks like it would be a pretty color. Just want to see what everyone's thoughts are on it. Thanks!

I went back and bought the Mystic Cool eyes palette today, plus a full-size #213 brush. I suppose that means I'm officially done with this collection (hopefully).

I'm not a huge fan either but I do love the color, It's so girly!!!

I'm planning to mix it with Pink Opal and make a lipgloss as soon as I'm back home!!
