Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

i'll be taking a lip gelee, creamy blush and the very cool looking eyeshadow!

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I am most excited about the creme blushes. I have always used powder blushes, so it would be really nice to use something different. What kind of blush brush would you girls recommend for this?

I might get a face powder as well.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I like the look of that eyeshadow, But I already have a matte white, matte med pink and matte med green (all by MUFE)...so I'll probably get a lip gelee (most likely Shift to Pink) and try a Cremeblend blush (maybe Joie de Vivre)

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

It seems that everyone is excited about lipgelees - what's the deal with them? I've never bought one before.

the 187 brush or maybe the new 130 brush that's coming out would be good for them

They arent as sticky as a regular lipglass, they are very smooth.

But erine said that the new ones coming out arent nearly as good as the ones in the Perm. line. She said that they are basically dazzleglasses in a squeezy tube. which is disappointing to me.

You should try Moonstone or Amber Russe from the perm. line

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I'm all about these new cremeblend blushes! I want to see what this Pearlmatte Face Powder looks like before I know if I want it, other than those two things I'm not too excited for this collection especially since Erin said that the lipgelees weren't the same formula.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

This collection is my new Style Black. I am so giddy over this b/c everything sounds delicious. I'll be trying the lipgelee for the 1st time and the blush and face powder sounds so cool. I've never owned a paint pot, but I might pick one up with this collection. I can't wait.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

This is the only collection where I haven't marked my wants and maybe's yet :| I tried to but I guess I will need pictures or swatches first to really decide.

I have decided on 2 things I don't want though (so far):
the e/s flower trio
Blush in Florida (Edit: I might like Florida now, but now I don't think I'd get much use out of Optimistic Orange)

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I'm not super excited about this collection (which is good for my wallet) but I'll probably pick up the face powder and maybe a lip gelee if it's really supposed to be like the dazzleglasses. I love sticky glosses

This is exactly why I can't wait to get a few of these lipgelees! I'll be getting Preppy for sure and maybe Shift to Pink or Resort Life.

I'll have to pick up at least one of the new Cremeblend blushes too. So Sweet So Easy will be mine, and maybe Florida (if it's not too bright) or Joie De Vivre (if it's not too orange).

The Pearlmatte Eyeshadow is so adorable! Still thinking about this. If it's swatch heaven, it'll probably come home with me.

Initial picture of the Cremeblend Blushes from the Early Buzz thread.

They look SO AWESOME!
I'm thinking they're like this in the picture:
Optimistic Orange
So Sweet, So Easy / Joie-De-Vivre
Florida

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

^ I agree! They look fantastic and the colors are to die for!

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

^Yes, I do want to try them when they come out as well as the Lipgelees.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I'm so glad there are new blushes b/c none of the permanent Mac blushes set me on fire. The only Mac blushes I own are Fever, On A Mission and Notable.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

My tentative list:

- Pearlmatte shadow
- Pearlmatte face powder
- Joie-De-Vivre
- So sweet, so easy

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

Blushes for me please! I wonder if the powder is like a beauty powder or what? I'm thinking it's a highlighter propably, I'll decide on that when we get more info.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

^ I'm wondering the same thing. I'm hoping that it'll be a pretty blend of pale pinks and ivories! I think that would fit this collection from what I've seen.

I'd have to agree! Big on that trio.....

I do however like the look of the blushes!!! I dont use a lot of cream based products but I think I will def grab at least one of these, probably Joie-De-Vivre based on that pic

They look gorgeous!!! I wonder if they are good, for oily skin

I don't like the look of the e/s. They look cheap to me
post #29 of 960

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

The pearlmatte face powder and cremeblend blush sound interesting. Those colours look gorgeous. I'm looking forward to getting more info on these.

The e/s is cute and I might not be able to resist getting that one but I don't really like the look of the colours.

I love lipgelees but, I think it was, erin who mentioned that the texture has changed. The np is the only thing I know I'm going to get.

pearlmatte face powder consists of spherical pigments and silicones that create a creamy, blendable formula that adheres beautifully to the skin. the rich, velvety texture is smooth and feels great. the formula contains a lightweight film that helps to provide superior skin adhesion and excellent colour payoff. a soft focus complex diminishes the appearance of imperfections on the skin. the LE powder features a combination of 1 bronzer and 3 shades in matte, satin and pearlized textures that are multi-pressed ad debossed into a flower patter. it can be used as an eyeshadow and is perfect for highlighting and contouring all over the face. it is non-acnegenic, derm- and ophthalmologist-tested. it is suitable for all skin types.

cremeblend blush is a cream blush that provides medium, buildable coverage and a natural finish. the long-wearing formula blends easitly onto the skin with adequate playtime, allowing you to achieve a smooth, even application of colour. the colour stays true and will not streak or pill. a combo of natural oils and butters such as avocado oil and cocoa butter give the blush its luxuriously soft texture. it can be worn alone or under/over any other makuep products. it is derm-tested and non-acnegenic.
