Well, the pink you got is def. you. I'm so glad you like it. I thought you would like how it looks on the lips! It's really pretty, but if you're not into using corals maybe not. But, it is more on the pink side. I like how this one looks on my lips. Let us know if you get Florida

Elegaaaaaant! I just ordered Florida. So, now you can...

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

Is Joie-de vivre close to Fleur Power blush colourwise? I'm guessing we won't get this collection here, so I don't know if I'll skip this or get one of the blushes online. Also, is So Sweet, So Easy really pale pink, like Well Dressed blush or is it more pigmented?

You are not alone. I plan on getting it tomorrow. I have no will power. When elegant mentions something that she likes, and it's pink, I'm doomed. I don't even try to resist anymore.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

Florida is something I usually would run out and get and it's what I initially wanted when the first details about this collection leaked. Lately, though, I've been reluctant to spend on makeup. I mean, I try to hold back a bit and it's just not working. I love hot pink and red so I was doomed anyway.

but still, elegant...

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I got Florida on the day that it was released and as each day passes Im wondering if I shouldn't have grabbed Optimistically Orange as well.

So sweet so easy is Def. not pale. lol in the pot, it looks really bright, but sheered out its a light cool toned pink, but i cant say that its pale due to how bright it can be. i dont own well dressed, so i cant compare that. but if you know sweetness bpb, its kinda like that but not as blue. HTH a little bit. but its the most modest shade out of all 4 colors. for the color shy, i'd rec that. i really like it. it makes a wonderful base to help keep your blush stay on longer too.

i really like these blushes. much creamier than the suck ass maindenchant i have from lure. i never bought another one after that but these are nonsticky and apply easily with 188. i topped it off with gentle mb and i loved the results i will have to pick up orange!

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

^Thanks Babylard! It sounds just like I hoped it would be! I would love a light pink blush that really shows up like that, it's good that these are so buildable. Some light pink blushes I feel I need to pack on forever to make them show up (like well dressed). But this one could be great as a base for those!

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I thought I was the only one who's first foray into the land of creme blushes was with Maidenchant! LOL!I hated it too and never again looked at creme blushes until these.

I wore So Sweet So Easy today, and I am IN LOVE! For one, it stayed true to color all day and had surprising staying power. I don't know what MAC did to make the texture so smooth, but they are like BUTTAH. I can't wait to try Joie-De-Vivre tomorrow. I did have to apply with a light hand - - these are amazingly pigmented. And So Sweet So Easy is quite cool toned, so I can see this color in particular being a little tricky for some.

I really wanted to dislike this collection, since I am not a Lilly Pulitzer fan in the slightest, but these blushes are so wonderful. And I love the lipgelees, but I am a glitter girl and I have always loved the lipgelee smoothness (I sometimes feel like I am the only MAC addict who is not a fan of their traditional lipglass - - I much prefer Lipgelees, Tendertones and Dazzleglasses). I wore Shift to Pink with Pink Treat lip liner today and really liked it. I can't wait to play more tomorrow, this collection is really floating my boat.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

oh boy, I tried to stay away but I think I need So Sweet, So Easy! I asked before, sorry, but does ANYone know if it's close to Prive lipstick (Baroque Boudoir), if I used this blush as a lip colour? Either way, it's beautiful and caught my eye since day one. TIA

I'm not SURE but I THINK its if it's kept in a damp warm area like a bathroom anything can get moldy with too much moisture. What should be safe i if it is in a cooler, drier place. Anyone wanna confirm this??

Ok luckily I live in a place where the temp is never too hot or too cold...I just don't want to see mold one day on my cheek

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

Perhaps it's more of a bacterial overgrowth than mold...think petri dishes in a lab.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I keep debating with myself whether or not I really need to get a backup of Joie de Vivre. I have a feeling my financials will not like my ultimate decision.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

Prive from BB is more of a darker rose berry pink - So Sweet So Easy is a paler yellow based barbie pink pink.

Fleur Power blush is more on the dusty peachy side of coral - Joie-de-vivre is a brighter pink pink coral. 2 different animals really

The weird thing is i kept my creme blush in a drawer away from the sun and in a dry area....and yet it still turned mouldy.

The creme blush that turned mouldy was summerlily and the strange thing is that my friend's Summer lily blush creme turned mouldy as well....so maybe it's only Summer lily blush creme that's the problem cause my Sweet william blush creme and maidenchant blushcreme didn't turn mouldy....yet

Anyway I'm living in a tropical country where the climate is pretty humid so i do not know whether this could be a cause for mould to grow in my summer lily blush creme which is a great pity cause it's a nice color

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

BTW - on the mold thingy - I have some older creme blushes & they have never gotten mold. I would freak out. I do live in a drier state.
Just be sure to wash your hands first with anti-bacterial soap. Store in a dry place.

I used to have several MAC creme blushes that sat around in my traincase for several years and never had this issue! Blending them was a different story though!

I'm not sure why I came on this thread, but now will be checking out the blushes as well! I still have one gc untouched (didn't end up getting anything from Warm and Cozy), so perhaps I may have to venture over to the MAC store! I blame Elegant and Audrey (j/k of course!).

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I didn't buy much from this collection but what I did get, Shift to Pink and Preppy Lipgelee, I love!! They do remind me of Dazzleglass! I wanted the Pearlmate Face Powder but, I don't think it's going to work on my NW45 skin. I may go back for Florida but, I'm not sure!

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

well this makes me feel slightly better that others have had creme blushers for years without them going mouldy!
