It always works out better And, you are such a beautiful person inside & out. OK, you're HOT

Thank you soo much doll & I love you! I don't feel very hot though. my damn hair is in it's "grow-out" stage. I do have extensions at the moment, but not the same!

I am starting to see the good in this. I actually gotten in touch with old friends that I lost touch with over the years, It's been fun!
The loneliness gets me at night still. But, I am doing better!

Thanks for all the love from all of you!

There are some pretty pics on Lillyland in this blog, and also some looks MAC is doing for Spring.
MAC 2010SS ???? & MAC in Lillyland (Lilly Pulitzer Collection) @ Yuki's Lazy Channel :: ??? PIXNET ::

I want to get my hands on Kaska Beige so badly. I bought the highlighter already but have not use it.

Glad that Specktra is up again. I couldn't access yesterday.
Dye-A-Tribe and American Nomad are looks if I am not mistaken?

If so, I think Dye-A-Tribe is for "Pret-A-Papier" (Apr 22) and "American Nomad is for "To The Beach" (May 8).

I did some translations and they talk about a beach setting as the look for American Nomad.

Not sure about Underground yet. Looks like a natural, yet bold look.

Got my hands on the orange blush... I skipped Joie-de-Virve because I was digging through my stash and came across Virgin Isle CCB.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I am wearing Florida for the first time today, and I have to admit, when I first put it on, I was scared. It is BRIGHT. It took ALOT of blending and buffing, but I really like the end result. It gives me a real "just in from the cold" look. So pretty and fresh looking

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I ended up with all 4 blushes, lol. I really liked all of the colors sheered out and I wanted to give a big to the rosacea-friendly ingredients.

Don't you just love the colors

oooh, you used 'sheered out'

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

My MA told me today that MAC in Lillyland will be store exclusive in Germany, so my counter won't get it.

I have made the decision to skip MAC in Lillyland and All Ages, All Races, All Sexes totally (I have enough lipglasses!), all I want in February is the new brush 130.
I will wait for the brighter collections Spring Forecast and Liberty of London

Nope.......not yet I'm a hold-out on the orange even though I still want it.

I'm glad you like Florida. It is a little wow, but sheered out - so pretty. Did you use it on your lips?

I agree! The only downside to that is that I saw I'm not the only one with backups of the lipgelees, so I bought more! Shift to Pink is just to perfect for me not to have 4 backups of! I swear, I'll be out of it by the end of summer, though! Seriously LOVE that color. Grand total= 5 shift to pink, 3 preppy, 2 lush and bright, and 1 resort life. My daughter ended up getting all 4 lipgelees, but I justified giving a 6-year-old this because she said, "Mommy, it's named after me!" Her name is Lilly! Ooohhhhhh I'm gonna be in trouble when she's a teenager!

I haven't tried it on my lips yet, but plan to do so tomorrow.

I will seriously use ALL of these up by the end of the year. I spend so much on lipgloss because I go through it like it's cool. Plus, if Lilly misplaces one, I'll loan her one of mine, although I can't imagine her letting those out of her site! Everyone who knows me cannot deny that she is my child! She's my mini-me!

I am weird about it... I have to wait and do a "fresh face" to determine if I like something or not. So I always try new stuff in the morning, when I do my makeup for the day

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I am the same way, depends on how my MU is & what color I buy before I play! I usually wait until I know when I am going to use the new color.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I'm back with my haul!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ended up getting all 4 lipgelees as planned, and ALL blushes!!!!! I called them to see if they had all the blushes. I got lucky b/c they only had one left of So Sweet, So Easy- so they put it on hold for me
I have to admit, when I got there and swatched the blushes they all seemed so bright, but I wasn't worried because I knew they could be sheered out when I apply them. The only one that had me go was the orange one. I swear I wasn't going to get it. The MA kind of talked me into it, and plus I figured I'm always there anyway so I could just return it if I don't like it. Let me say.....................I LOVE OPTIMISTIC ORANGE !!!!! Wow, it seriously doesn't go on that bright. Actually, I had to apply it a few times to even show! It's the perfect combination with lush & bright lipgelee. I took pics so I will load them now and post in a few minutes. I swatched the blushes, lipgelees, and I did a cheek swatch of the orange blush. That's the only one I tried on so far so I only have a cheek swatch on that one. I will wear another blush shade tomorrow and post cheek swatches of that tomorrow as well.
All in all, I really loved this collection, and am thinking of going for backups. I dont really own lipgelees except one, but it doesn't have glitter. These ones in this collection are amazing!!!!!

The ONLY thing I'm not really liking about the blushes is how the dust/small hair particles stay in the pot All I had to do was swirl my brush once, and the particles were all over. But thats alright- as long as the small hairs don't show on my cheeks, I guess I could live with it lol

I have 2 of each of the lipgelees but I think either this weekend or next week I'm going to get one more set to be safe too lol I wish I could go through lipglass quick though, that would make it so much easier to B2M! Do you usually reapply a lot?

Audrey, the Orange is gorgeous with a light hand. I do really love this blush, that's why I am being a enabler!

You just may talk me right into the orange one girl! I'll look for your pics.

I was thinking, those hairs that we see in the creme blushes are prolly in the powder ones too, they just stick/show up better in the creme ones.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

If I end up liking this orange blush, the ONLY way I will get it is if Elegant gets it too

Since the most "non-pink" blush I have is Shy Beauty, I pair pink cheeks with nearly everything. What eyeshadow combos do you all like with peach and coral blushes? I think I need to broaden my blush horizons!

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

I wear greens, browns, neutrals, smokey looks when I wear coral/peach/orange blushes.

Re: MAC - MAC in Lillyland Discussion

Okay, I'm posting the swatches in the swatch thead, but here are the 2 cheek swatch pics of optimistic orange. The first pic, is lighter because I applied less. On the second pic, I wanted you to see how it looks when you layer it a little more. I think I must have layerd it like 3 or 4 times to get it to look like that in the second pic. It looks like it would come out totally orange, but it comes out more peachy. It almost shows up like a peachy rosy color on me. And when you use a light hand to apply it, you get to layer it until you get the desired effect you are looking for! I also used the 188 brush by the way......

Here is optimistic orange applied a little heavier than the first pic just so you can see what it looks like!
