Wow! Everything is so neat & organized. Thanks for sharing. I really love the idea of saving the lipstick/gloss boxes to help store them better. I will have to start doing that. :)

Hey! Sorry for not replying sooner - yes, I did use rice for the containers holding the eye brushes. For the one holding the face brushes, it's two triangular containers tied together, so it sort has enough 'squeeze' on its own to hold them semi-upright.

You can choose different sizes, that one fit my space best, as the bigger one would have been just a little too big.

How do you get the table top to stay without moving/sliding?

It comes with these little rubber nub things that you place on the top of the drawer units, and that the table top rests on. It won't move unless you really push it. I suppose you could also use some kind epoxy to really glue it into place, but I like that this can be changed up, if need be.

Thank you so much for this. I was going to purchase the MALM dressing table this weekend, but this may be a better option and choice, both use wise and price wise!!!

The MALM looks more elegant, but the ALEX system is just so great if storage space is an issue.

Thank you!

I'll try to get some updated pictures up soonish. The collection has grown a bit since those picture, so I've had to re-organize a bit. I'm depotting all my NYX shadows and blushes and sticking them in palettes to make some room!

Ok, went ahead and took new pictures since I've updated the storage. Also added some pictures of my bath and perfume storage as well.

I love the new pictures! Wow!  I just feel super happy looking at them!  Now I know it is okay for me to buy even more lip products!  And a wall of pigments. I had to show that to my husband.  He was overwhelmed. He is probably afraid that is our future. Heheheh..... Thank you for sharing. It is all lovely, tidy and very nicely organized!

I'm thinking of starting a review vlog, so I posted a collection tour as a test to see how I like working with youtube. It's a little shaky, and it's freaky as all get out to hear yourself speak, lol! (Holy shit, could I say "um" just a few more times?)

I love your hidden perfume storage. I will have to try that with nail polish, my caboodle can't hold anymore.
